The Rankings?

Are the top 10 rankings a little mixed up? SIU beat UNI, SIU is ranked 10th and UNI is 4th. Montana Beat Cal Poly, Cal Poly is ranked 3rd, and Montana is 5th, Montana lost to Weber, and Weber is ranked 8th. How should the rankings really be?

Well, neither JMU or Weber has an FCS loss, but JMU's schedule is considerably tougher, with victories against ASU, Richmond, W&M, Maine, & Villanova. Weber's only real quality win is against Montana.

You gotta love that homer blindness...

ASU was a undisputed pre-season # 1 and remained there until JMU knocked them off...JMU has held on with a single FBS loss...playing in the toughest conference in FCS (not just my opinion, check out Sagarin)...

Weber has one quality win and you vault them to #1????

Can't wait for the playoffs to see if CAA and SOCON are as tough as everyone thinks they are, if the Missouri Valley is as weak as it appears to be, and if the Big Sky is as strong as I think it is. 8-)

A down year for the SoCon doesn't mean they aren't still one of the strongest conferences...

I dont believe that Weber deserves the #1 spot, but they deserve to be at least top 5.

to fix the post you need to have a start and end tag.

you need to have a [quote] at the start.

JMU is in the toughest conference hands down. Coming into the weekend they had 6 teams in the top 17. Four teams will definitely make the playoffs maybe five since Elon got killed by a bad Liberty team. I think Elon will still make it though.

On the other hand, did you happen to see Cal Poly's kicker screw the pooch against Wisconsin?

If not for their kicker, they'd be undefeated with two FBS wins...a lock #1 seed. That really blows....
