....enjoying the current BCS fiasco as much as I am? And listen to the pundits become apologists for the crappy systems their corporate masters have signed television contracts with....it's comical. I realize my beloved FCS doesn't have the following or stir the passions of the casual and drive-by fans.......and I thank god everyday that it doesn't, taking solace in the fact that, while imperfect, the FCS Playoffs is a little more pure and less beholden to the money-whores driving the FBS schools.....

I am loving it as well

It's been such a sham that I really just lost interest in it all together and have not paid any attention to it this year.

Same here......it's like, "The Emperor Wears No Clothes", listening to the pundits and apologists try to justify how this is an anamoly and trying to prognosticate on what that inanimate object, the BCS computer, must've been "thinking" in order to justify the match-up's.....I mean, how many ways can you dissect the issue in order to justify denying a playoff is this aswer.....???

I don't disagree with you, Appy, but do you suspect, back in the recesses of your mind, that this hullabaloo is actually desirable for everyone involved? Something about which to talk non-stop? A playoff system might not generate such interest without a controversy....

Obama will fix it. The thing that I always wonder about is if the BCS goes to a play off system...would it make our play offs more relevant, less relevant or have no real effect on it?

I think less relevant, hence, Ihope they keep the bowls forever and also hope App never gives in to the allure of Detroit in december...

Cappy, I agree with you as well....it wouldn't be past those corporate whores to purposefully create a system rife with controversy at the expense of giving the scholar athletes a chance to prove themselves on the field of play....
