All kidding aside, it'll be fun to find out ff their fans and team embrace it to the extent that EWU did in going undefeated on it. If they do, unfortunately it will be a surefire trend in the coming years. Wouldn't be surprised if an FBS team did it. Probably someone else in the WAC/MCW...

I may be in the minority, but I think it looks good.

If colored fields started 40 years ago, then it would be respected tradition today.

We became respectable Jan 7th.

I don't mind a solid stupid-colored field, but this is an abomination and should be ruled on by the NCAA. This cannot be allowed to continue. It's just ridiculous.

Unfortunately, we have to play on it one time. I won't be making the trip though I may catch it online.

hmmmm....maybe that's the ploy.

I sort of dig the multicolored field. I am surprised it took this long for colored fields to start surfacing more. You would think once color tv became a main stay in every home, and turf was added to sports field it would of been a no brainer for a lot of teams.

Being honest, I actually prefer this than the bright red field at Eastern Washington.

I'd rather watch a game at the "Barney Bowl" over the retina-burning turf at the "Tampon".
