2011 Championship Subdivision FCS Top 25 Poll

1) Must register no later than 11:59 am 06/18/2011 to be eligible to vote in 2011 Preseason Poll
2) Registrant for Preseason Poll will automatically be registered to vote in Regular Season Poll. Regular Season Poll participants need not participate/register in the Preseason Poll: The registration period will be re-opened from 11:59 am August 21 until 11:59 pm September 2, 2011 for eligible voters who missed or did not participate in the Preseason Poll.
3) Registrant must have at least 100 posts prior to 11:59 am 06/18/2011.
4) Registrant must declare a home team and cannot change home teams during the season.
5) Registrant must provide a valid email address. Voters providing invalid addresses will have their ballots nullified.
6) Voters found to have registered under two or more names will be ineligible to vote for remainder of season.
7) Poll closes Sunday at Midnight PST on Sunday night.
8) Voter must vote every week. If the voter misses 2 weeks they lose their voting ability
9) Regular season poll will start after Week 1 games have been completed.

Note: Though UMass and Texas State hometeam voters are invited to register and participate, the Minutemen and Bobcats will not be eligible for 2011 Poll selection due to FBS transitioning.

The balloting for the Preseason Poll will be open from 12:01 am 06/19/2011 until 11:59 pm 06/25/2011.

Doh. This is what killed me last year. I generally get back to Bozeman Sunday night after home games and don't have time to research the results

I thought the thing that made the CS Poll unique was the fact that we don't have a Preseason Poll and that we waited three weeks until the first poll.

There is nothing wrong with a preseason poll.

The main argument that I listened to last year is that if someone fills out a preseason poll they won't be as willing to change teams around as quickly as they should.

While I don't disagree with that the fact is if someone is going to vote like that from the preseason on, they are going to do the same thing just without submitting it to a poll.

T-Man, just FYI, but this was the main reason I had to bow out of voting last year as well (and I can recall a few other people in a similiar situation last year). I just don't have time on the weekends to sit down and submit a valid poll. A few hours on monday morning at work ( ) to work on it is all I would need. Ah well.

I vote not based on my last poll, but on where I perceive teams to be at the time. My week 1 poll is likely to be very different from my preseason poll, depending on what teams do between now and then. But I do love preseason polls because it gives fans something to discuss, talk about, and argue over.

Same set of rules will apply. The date may change for the 100 posts by, but that hasn't been discussed yet.

The registration will reopen to everyone to vote for the regular season.

Actually, this ECB voter probably won't be voting very much if the deadline is Sunday night.

I think it needs to be 75 posts as I being in Afghanistan I can only get to a computer every week or two.
