Here's mine:
1. Montana- great program and great fans. They've had enough success that beating them is always a feat a nrecognized nationally. Plus, we don't beat them that often.
2. Montana State- it feels like their fansbase acts as though they are on par with Montana, but we tend to beat them every year (last year's debacle excluded). Plus, they fired Mike Kramer.
3. Appalachian State- such a powerful program and we've only played them once as we have eluded one another in the playoffs most years. This last year would have been a cool rematch had Villanova not upset them.
4. North Dakota State- Notre Dame, Alabama, and USC all rolled into one with a fan base that knows it and sounds like an NAACP attorney blasting their in-state rivals. Yuck.

You'd fire Kramer too if you what was going on at the time.
1. Montana: Don't need to say much.
2. EWU: They were in the right place at the right time last year in the playoffs. Perfect storm for them. We beat the snot out of them in both halves last year (the first with Taiwan). It will be the same this year with an even better MSU team. Going to be nice beating them again on the maxi-pad.
3. I'd like to play teams East of the Mississippi. Don't really have any "likes" yet seeing as how we never really do but I'd like to play App again.
4. Furman was nice. Would like to beat NDSU for revenge.

To say right now is tough for ODU fans. We have yet to play a single CAA game in conference....
1. WM
2. JMU
3. I'd love to see ODU play App. State or Montana.
4. ODU hasn't made the playoffs yet but I'd say Eastern Washington since they are the National Champs.

Please list your favorite teams:
1. to BEAT that are in your conference? Richmond. Ticks are dicks.
2. to SEE FAIL that are in your conference? Villanova. Philly people suck, as do their cheesesteaks.
3. to PLAY that are not in your conference? Liberty. Would be a fun series and well-supported.
4. to BEAT IN THE PLAYOFFS that are not in your conference? Anyone, but Appy State in Norfolk would be epic.

4. to BEAT IN THE PLAYOFFS that are not in your conference? Not neccesarily UNI, but Mark Farley.

1. to BEAT that are in your conference?
Very cliche, but probably Montana. As was said before, it doesn't happen very often.
2. to SEE FAIL that are in your conference?
During the regular season, again probably Montana. Not because I dislike them or anything, but because anytime they struggle it usually means good things for EWU. During the playoffs I root for any and all Big Sky or western teams.
3. to PLAY that are not in your conference?
It's always fun to watch EWU play the Pac-10 teams, even though we've never beaten one.
4. to BEAT IN THE PLAYOFFS that are not in your conference?
We always seem to get paired up with Southland or MVFC teams.....but it was neat to watch us go 2-0 this year against the CAA. We hadn't ever played a CAA team before that I know of. It'd also be really cool to play App again or play GA Southern for the first time.

I personally have nothing against UR but I do agree with 'Nova just because of Philadelphia fans. Liberty would be a great OOC in-state rivalry.

Appy State at Norfolk would be intense.
If there was a question that asked the same thing as #2 but out of conference I'd say Norfolk State. Their fans are so jealous of ODU right now and some have said they will crush us the first time we play them.

Lots of teams "out west", especially in the Big Sky play those schools out of conference. Maybe you didnt know that? I was just pointing out that NDSU has a scheduling strategy OOC that does not include inter-divisional exhibition games.

Its the same for most of the Big Sky schools isnt it?
Portland State played NDSU for a D2 title and lost. Another game with them would be fun, especially for high stakes at the Fabulous and Prestigious Fargo Dome, home field for FCS football you know!

1) EWU. If we beat them, it usually means an un-shared BSC title for the Griz.
2) Weber State. A couple wins over the Griz, and suddenly they act like their shit doesn't stink. Plus, they play dirty.
3) Cal Poly. Beautiful stadium....great city. Got to watch the Griz game there last year and would go back in a heartbeat. Also, can't wait for the ASU game at the Rock in a couple years.
4) JMU. Highlight of the last 10 years was the revenge game against #1 JMU a couple years ago AT JMU...even though the refs did their damnest to give that game to JMU, JMU was busy handing the ball over to the Griz all day long. Epic.

1. to BEAT that are in your conference?
The Farm Extension.
(OK, so that doesn't apply quite yet. In that case, how about the Griz? It's about time for us to get THAT monkey off our back.
)
2. to SEE FAIL that are in your conference?
SUU/UND.
(OK. Same thing. For now, make that MSU.)
3. to PLAY that are not in your conference?
I really don't think there is one. There aren't all that many FCS teams out here that are not in the Big Sky or are not scheduled to join the Big Sky at a future date. I'd like to play Liberty, but that'll never happen, at least not for football, until we get some big-time revenue to support the travel involved.
4. to BEAT IN THE PLAYOFFS that are not in your conference?[/quote]
I wouldn't know. We haven't been there yet. But I'd have to take a shot at Appy. Good team, good fans, and a challenge all the way.
