Good point. Montana - AppState is a huge game with great FCS interest, but it doesn't translate at all to the College Gameday audience. Again, there has to be something above & beyond what happens between the white lines that would interest the viewer whether they're in SEC country, Pac-12 country or Big 10 country.rebla 49er wrote:The recency of Gameday being at an FCS school is not the point. First of all, that was basketball. This is football. Second of all, I did not say they would not consider it. I said that this announcement was naive; billion dollar companies only act out of self-interest. They don't give a **** if weCollege basketball Gameday went to Southern Illinois in 2008. So its not something that ESPN would not consider.
