NDSU's president is Texas A & M former VP .... Dean Bresciani.

NDSU already beat BIG 12 member Kansas, played closely with Iowa State....Lets start this thing up ASAP!!

Texas A&M to the SEC wouldn't surprise me but the Big 12 taking NDSU? I doubt it.

I get NDSU's aspirations for the Big 12. I get there are connections between NDSU and the Big 12, but help me understand why the Big 12 aspires to have NDSU.

A Texas A&M move to the SEC would signal the beginning of the end, well if that didn't already happen with Nebraska & Colorado, of the Big 12. There wouldn't be any teams added & if there were I'm sure they'd try to raid the MWC before NDSU would ever be a thought in someone's head much less passing through lips....

I would see the Big 12 raiding the MWC before inviting NDSU. I thought most posters on here agreed that a BCS conference would not invite a FCS team to join unless if its an unusual situation like a Villanova who is already members of the Big East in other sports. If NDSU joined the Big 12 they would not be competitive at all. Good luck beating Oklahoma, Texas, and so on.

You should have seen them 5-6 years ago. They were everywhere. It's down to just a handful of lunatics these days.

Appalachian State is currently in talks with the SEC -- so, we may be taking Texas A&M's spot. Hold off on speculation until App announces its chosen conference. It all hinges on whether the SEC allows us to have our own, exclusive Mountaineer Network.

The SEC will take two teams - App State and Texas A&M would be perfect bookends for expansion - adding Texas and North Carolina to the SEC.

To be fair, there are a number of current B12 teams that never really beat Oklahoma/Texas.....

Iowa State has one win (1990) against Okie since 1961, and last year was their first time ever beating Texas.
Kansas hasn't beaten OK since 1997, or TX since 1938.
Missouri has two wins over OK since 1983 (1998, 2010) and only one win over TX since 1916 (1997).
Baylor is winless against OK, and only has two wins over TX since 1992 (1997, 2010), and they play both of those teams every year.

NAU: 1-17 (win in '97)
PSU: 2-13 (wins in '99, '04)
Idaho State: 2-18 (wins in '94 and '03)
Weber: 3-16 (wins in '98, '08, '10)
EWU: 4-14 (wins in '97, '02, '05, '10)
MSU: 4-14 (wins in '02, '03, '05, '10)

Umm it isn't really fair to link NDSU fans in with this crap, lakes and JBB are off in their own little worlds. Both of have been banned from NDSU's board, stuff like this is a major reason why. JBB and his UND obession, lakes and his going FBS obession.
