No kidding. Its a well known fact that Missouri State and Youngstown State absolutely dominate recruiting every season.

No not necessarily.... but we got you this year!
Your recruiting class is good, as always. Not a lot of impact players like that guy said, but 1-3 maybe.
But overall, I think YSU's was better in quantity and a little better in quality.

Pretty sweet I'd say. Don't agree with where he has SDSU and such but pretty awesome to see someone put that much effort into covering the FCS and the MVFC.

I agree. He surprised me with where he had SDSU at.

Good work! Great insights to all the teams, interesting ranking and certainly aware.

Thanks Gang! I appreciate the feedback! Should be an interesting year in the MVFC.. I'm really interested to see how the Redbirds defense improves because if I had to pick a dark horse candidate...it'll be the Redbirds

Cant the same be said of YSU's defense this year? If they are are just mediocre, YSU could easily have 6-7 wins with that offense we have. Not sold on ILSU. Everyone on here said they would be sweet last season and they were most certainly not.

Coach Spak hell bent on building a team out of other program's garbage. Will have about 20 transfers on the final roster. Mostly 4th line players from the MAC and B10. What Spack and staff refuse to understand is that a 4th tier guy at a FBS program is NOT better than a starter at a top level MVFC program.
He may well have some short term success puting together a team that's capable of making a little noise, but he will never have any success building a program with a foundation for sustained long term success. You do that with recruiting.

Here's some feedback that isn't just more of the conventional wisdom - SIU takes the MVC.
Btw, last year's top ranked defense in the MVC was not UNI or NDSU.
Thanks for the effort, and welcome aboard!

Let's just say...hyptothetically...you do have "a little better" quality...
It took you fuckers twice as many recruits to get "just a little better" quality?
UNI can sign 17, and by the time those 17 graduate 10-15 of them will be AC contenders.

Suuuuurrrreee.... I'd say 4-8 from what I saw.
But you have a point. IMO I thought Wolf's first class was better than his second. And that was about 18 players.

The bottom line is this... the three MVFC teams that made it to the playoffs: Northern Iowa, North Dakota State, and Western Illinois all had to score with less than 2:00 to go in the game to beat YSU. That is not saying much for the lousy YSU defense, but it goes to show how close YSU was last year. Not sure it is good for our league that our three MVFC barely squeaked out wins over a 3-8 team, but it just goes to show the quality of football in our league from TOP to BOTTOM.
NOBODY on here predicted Western Illinois would jump from #8 to a playoff team last year... Nobody.
NOBODY on here predicted Indiana State would jump from #9 to a commendable 6-5 last year... Nobody.
The bottom line is anything can happen this year. IF YSU and ILSU loaded up on defense, which it appears they both have done, then I expect each to rise quite a bit in the rankings this year.
