Agreed. Also, ASU seems pretty tense. They need to calm down (easier said than done).

I thought appy would keep it respectable but it doesn't seem like that is going to happen. Is Virginia tech that good or is appy maybe going to be down a little this year. I guess time will tell, but they have looked bad so far.

That was one crazy catch by the VT player. Trapping the ball on the Appy's helmet to catch it.

Just watch, Tech is gonna win big today and then everybody is gonna start talking about the Hokies and how good they are.

I hate judging a team based on FBS games in week 1 or 2...but....

Is VT going to be better than I thought, is ASU going to be worse than I thought...Or does Tech remember JMU and is just going to lay the wood to ASU and then fall back to what they shoudl be.

I guess what has really surprised me is how crappy the mountaineers offense has looked. I definitely thought they would score in the 20 point range but the hokie d has just suffocated them. Kinda dissapointing I imagine for appy state fans.

Let's combine App State over Michigan, Boise State over VT, JMU over VT...

I came in and turned on the radio -- before hearing the score they were talking about what a good game punter Sam Martin was having.

I then suspected big trouble

Hopefully the offense can get some good things rolling in the second half - 2 or 3 scores would make things appear a bit more respectable.

Actually you won't have 22 more players. You'll have the same players but more of them most of whom won't play) eating up scholarships.

The biggest difference from VT/JMU and today's game VT/ASU is that ASU just hasn't tackled well. They are missing tackles, leaving WR wide open, etc... Just not a good day for ASU. Oh 45-0 now.
