Might as well get it started if it hasn't already.

Must win for both teams.

I'd say it's an important game for UM, but we're not screwed if we drop this one.

EWU on the other hand is not going to be looking good if they lose this one, especially since they have a game MSU team coming the next week. 0-4 for the Eagles is definitely a possibility, and they'd pretty much be out of it at that point.

This was the game I really wanted to go to, but I'm flying out to Tokyo tomorrow morning starting my new job, so I will sadly miss it.

I predict a loud and possibly semi-cool environment.

I been there like three years in a row, anybody else seen this place?

Can't wait! :notworthy:

That looks like a pretty nice stadium. I wish I could see another angle of it to know for sure...

This game makes me nervous. The Eags are the only ones that have come into Wa Griz consistently and never seem to back down. I still don't think either teams knows exactly where they are with some inconsistent play over the 2 games. I think who ever can make the best adjustments and most corrections this week wins. With those fixes, someone should come up with a complete game and get it done. I hope it is us and i can't wait for the kick! :thumb:

Just saw the EWU RB Mario Brown is suspended for the Griz game for throwing a punch against USD on Saturday. Not that the Eags showed much of a rushing attack against the Yotes, but losing him doesn't help matters any. The Griz will (obviously) need to bring the heat on BLM.

losing Browns -6 yards on 7 attempts is just gonna destroy EWU

EWU still wins :kisswink:

I already did in another thread, its just that AZ didnt like it and thinks I am just picking against the frizz, when I actually picked you guys to win over CP last week.

I think EWU will do a better job against JJ and Pflus gimmicky offense, the have more speed than CP and adequate secondary. um will get a few big plays but struggle.

other than Tru your entire secondary is suspect, BLM will throw 70+ times and hit enough to get the win.

Here's a little hint for you: The Griz secondary (as "suspect" as it is, which is a questionable assessment in its own right) won't be on an island, since the lack of an EWU running game will allow for LOTS of help.... :coffee: :coffee:

I respect your thoughts but i dont see anyone throwing the ball 70+ times to come out with a win especially playing on the road. Im not worried about our defense. If BLM throws the ball that many times i expect at least 2 ints from our D. There will be guys coming every which way at him.. I dont expect a butt whooping but it will be a close game.

FYI- Breske's son is the D Coordinator at South Dakota.. Im sure they have been talking to one another. :thumb:

Exactly. We will not see the speed of the Tennessee WR's again this year at the FCS level..

I have to admit that I didn't see the CP game (CW = cant watch in eastern Montana) but looking at the highlights and the stats sheet, and given what we know about UM otherwise I think I am right on this one, It looks like um had some lucky breaks against CP and I think that the EWU matchup is a better one for EWU. I just dont see um scoring enough points to win this one. I thik EWU probably played flat last week and will be pumped up this week. they are a big play offense and will get enough dont to win. I do think it will be close and an interesting matchup. certainly more interesting than watching MSU beat up on the little sisters of the poor this week.

Yes. Holding them to 17 yards of total offense in the 4th quarter was a HUGE lucky break for us.

Dude, if you didn't see the game, don't try to analyze it from highlights or box score. CP did very little in the 2nd half and absolutely NOTHING in the 4th quarter. They got one break on a penalty (roughing the kicker) which they turned into 7 points and we got 1 break on a penalty (roughing the passer) which WE turned into 7 points. Griz made halftime adjustments that totally shut down the CP offense. This game wasn't as close as it appeared, as the Griz knelt in victory formation at the 4 yard line...

Now, you may be right about EWU, but I think you're seriously underestimating this Griz D if you think it's going to be some sort of a shootout. :coffee:
