I've just updated all FCS and FBS teams after last week's games. If you're looking for a projection for an upcoming game use the 100 game match feature I've set up. Here's a sample game for this week between Georgia and Coastal Carolina.

Click play again or select new teams. In another week or two I'll add all the player names as well to make the individual games look more realistic.

Interesting. Still has EWU winning 76 of 100 matchups with the Griz, with rushing yardage for EWU in the mid 100's.

I don't think so. Seems like there's a flaw in your database.

Interesting...ODU is picked every single time out of 100 simulations. Average score is ODU 32, Hampton 14.

How can there be a flaw when they haven't even played yet? Lets wait and see what happens this week and I'll adjust the numbers accordingly after the game.

Well how can it regularly predict 130+ yards rushing for EWU when they don't have 50 TOTAL in two games? I thought the data set was updated with current statistics/trends?

I said above the INDIVIDUAL GAMES and PLAYER NAMES haven't been totally updated. I'm using actual stats to run the 100 game matches, I just haven't had time to update the individual teams for your viewing.

So, it's still using 2010 stats/trends to determine winners....got it. In other words, it still thinks TJ is on EWU.

Just because my rankings didn't project your team to win, that doesn't mean it's wrong. After this weekend I'll adjust the overall team numbers based on the results. If your team wins you'll be the first to let me know how "dumb" my program is and if your team loses you won't mention anything about it.

I've been doing this for years and that's what happens about 99% of the time. When the predictions are incorrect I'll adjust the teams accordingly. It's just a way to get a score prediction for an upcoming game.

No Einstein! They are two separate engines. One for the individual games with the box scores, and the 100 game match that uses 2011 stats. I just haven't had time to update that part.

So....the W/L isn't tied to the stats of the game?

I'm not bitching, because I couldn't do it...but something does seem off on this.

Hey, I'm not complaining, just making a fucking observation. If you're going to have such thin skin and not be open to some constructive criticism, then why bother?

There aren't any YARDAGE STATS DISPLAYED FOR THE 100 GAME MATCHUP. Just the scores of each game and how many each team wins. That's not what he's talking about. He's talking about the SINGLE game match up, which I've said is not updated.
