AZ Griz-

Going to be a cold and rainy day in Norfolk. Will have seafood etoufee over rice and Fat Tire to warm things up prior to beating up on the Pirates. Will make a toast to our friends from Montana in your honor.

MEAC had a very impressive week if you ask me...

Norfolk State defeats Howard 23-9
Old Dominion defeats Hampton 45-42...the Pirates almost gave the Monarchs a heart attack in Norfolk.
Elon defeats NC Central 23-22...looks like NCCU should have won this game.

I'll grant you the last two games but the first was a conference battle obviously the only way the MEAC will start to gain as a league is during the post season when they play non-conference opponents the last team from this league to advance beyond the first round was Florida A&M and that was a DECADE AGO vs Applachian St.Hampton was knocking on the door during the yr's of 04-06 but came up short then SC State took up the mantle and the same thing happened to them as well especially that 41-0 beatdown courtesy of Ga.Southern.Delaware St had their time as well.

Probably not. They are much like us this year- not ready for prime time.
