Villanova might not win a game this year until they play Delaware.

EWU better finish 7-1 (not out of the question) or they won't be in the playoffs.

At least EWU is losing to actual football teams.

well, I think Towson's win over 'Nova is looking less and less impressive each day after they lost to Monmouth yesterday.

No smack from me, kalm. Just an observation.

Well, I do kind of hate Villanova. :D

3,2,1? Are you making fun of the number of fans they still have?

That's pretty cold.

One play here, a couple inches there, and we're 2-1 with wins over a Pac-12 team and a ranked FCS...

And one play here and another there and we've put 17 more points on the board and this game is a blowout.

One play here, a couple of inches there and UD is the defending champ. That's football. I still think you guys will turn things around, but you better win next week.

I'm in the terrible position of having to pick Penn to win next week!

As others have stated, EWU is playing competitive football against good football teams.

Villanova is an absolute abortion right now. Probably the worst CAA team since Northeastern shut down their program.

ummmm...I know I am in the minority but EWU looked far better on O yesterday and much more fluid.

They passed the ball better, but 300 yards rushing is 300 yards rushing. :coffee:

I keep hearing that...perhaps I watched the wrong game.

We passed the ball terribly by our standards but had better balance on offense. I don't distinguish too much between rushing and passing with either team. Your read/option can be regarded as an extension of the passing attack, and our short passing game is an extension of the run.

This game was a new wrinkle on classic Griz football. Physical, big plays on offense, and timely blitzes.

I've seen comments both here and on our board that neither team played well. On the contrary it looked like two really good football teams.

I believe both teams have a LOT of talent, I just don't think either one put a complete game together.

Of all the years for the Lehigh-Villanova series to end, this had to be it. Lehigh could have exacted some serious revenge this season.
