Woah lakes, I know we're all jacked for saturday, but you can't say it was the biggest win ever. You must realize the gophers were HORRIBLE that year.
I love the video clips tho!

It was a huge win. Minnesota, good or bad, was BCS/FBS. Everything in their favor, just like this Saturday: Scholarships, facilities, budget, equipment, fans, league, status, setting....they got it all.

Everyone knows it was a huge win. Any win against an FBS team is a huge win for an FCS program for the reasons you just stated.

63,088 was the attendance so the dome was split 50-50? I heard ESPN say 30,000 but come on they also get UND and NDSU mixed up. There is no way in hell they count 1 by 1 who is a Gopher and who is a Bison. I have heard some Bison fans say it was not that high.

Seriously? The Gophers?

JMU over VT last year was probably the #2 upset after ASU - michigan.

The Citadel over Arkansas in 92 is probably around #3.
The Citadel over South Carolina would be in the top 10.

All of the above games were played in front of bigger crowds.

Pretty much any time Delaware beats Navy it is a bigger accomplishment.

Heck, duke is better than the Gophers and Richmond just beat them this year.

Whats funny is it used to be 10,000 at the Metrodome, then 20,000 today its 30,000. 10 years from now it would be 100,000 with Bison fans hanging from the roof.
