At least the high ranking for NDSU will make the inevitable playoff loss that much more enjoyable.

(and who gave Nova and Georgetown a 25th place vote?)

How about the Sycamores coming from the depths of football hell all the way back to the top 25, in just a few years. :notworthy:

I was on one of those winless teams and the job Trent has done is phenomenal. Truly phenomenal. Idk how much longer he will be at state because I know other schools have looked at him...

BTW, I know we're not ranked, but this is the first time ODU's received more votes than Liberty. 8-)

Hey Cal Poly is 1-3 so I am not really making any claim to a ranking at all but it is simply impossible for me to understand how South Dakota State is ranked ahead?

Cal Poly destroyed South Dakota State and has lost on the road to NIU, San Diego State and Montana. They were competitive in all of those games. Id still expect Cal Poly to break the to 25 this year once they start playing FCS teams and a few more home games. :coffee:

He means sdsu has more votes than CP, and I agree with his complaint. It's not right. CP is a WAY better team than SDSU this year.

Because the polls have a man crush on UM

This is the poll that has been the worst all year, although it is getting a little better. Still way off though through week 4.

What a total joke. Weber destroyed Sac. It was a nice win but Sac is getting way too much credit for beating an average Montana team at home.

Agree it should be WSU then SAC then UM (if um is still considered a top 25 team)

I am a huge Indiana state fan and that poll had me laughing for a good 5 minutes.

Trent is an IN St U grad, that wanted to restore the program. Took him 3 years to build the team, and in this 4th year, we'll find out if Trees are taking root in winning. Good luck, except for this next week.

when will weber state be ranked? it does not surprise me we are not ranked as we were the morons that schedule 2 fbs teams.

schedule:
1. fbs-wyoming L 35-32
2. fbs-utah st L 54-17
3. #20 sac st W 49-17
4. n. colorado W 45-21
5. ewu
6. idaho st
7. #17 suu

if weber beats ewu who would then be 0-5 be enough? probably not. we may have to wait until week 7 if we can beat suu at home. or if some teams fall in the next week or 2 and we get in by default. i expected the ewu game to get us ranked before the season started. i knew it would be a big upset if we could win. but i also thought ewu would be in the top 5.

north dakota st should be higher.

ewu with 50 votes at 0-4 seems wrong. ewu has lost almost all tough teams and some of the games were close but...

if ewu goes 0-5 will they still have top 25 votes?

In your next three games, SUU is the only quality opponent. Weber is expected to win against EWU and ISu at this point. But I could definitely see Weber breaking the top 25 after beating EWU.

And yet UM is ranked ahead of both teams.

Gotta make the playoffs first, the polls don't really mean much in FCS :kisswink:
