Entering week 5 of football. The SoCon's premiere game this week is App State at Wofford.

It's time to move on, forget about week 4, and pick this week's winners and losers.

I go along with Youngterrier's picks. This App team appears to anwser one question about the team only to have another question pop up and is impossible to predict. O-line is the one consistent area that needs to get better and fast. :coffee:

Georgia Southern (3-0, 2-0) at Elon (3-1, 1-0) Elon has done well against GaSo last few years; Elon Wins

The Citadel (1-2, 0-2) at Chattanooga (2-2, 0-1) UTC Wins easily

Furman (2-1, 1-0) at Western Carolina (1-2, 0-1) WCU gets nearer to firing their coach; Furman wins big

Gardner-Webb (1-2, 0-2) at Samford (1-2, 0-2) Close game first half but Samford wins in 4th quarter

App has a chance this week to rise up and go big, and I suspect they will, regardless of last week and 'stuff'.

But ... it could get ugly. Been quite a few years since we've seen Team Turmoil; seasons have turned over on less.
