Re: Big South Pick Em Week 7
Charleston Southern...
The combined record of 2011 opponents: 18-9
University of Central Florida 3-2
Florida State University 2-3
Jacksonville University 4-2
Norfolk State University 5-1
Wesley College 4-1
That includes 2 FBS opponents, 2 very good FCS opponents, and 1 lower-lever opponent who (it was well-documented) could easily compete and compete well at the FCS level.
If I am Coach Mills I am driving it home that this can be a reset on the season. The conference schedule starts this week and all of the goals are still out there to be achieved. Whatever has happened this year, whatever adversity has been encountered, and whatever disappointment has been, it can all be used to turn this season into a successful and very satisfying season.
We are undefeated in the conference. We are in fourth place. It is up to the team where the season goes from here. It can either go up or down. It can be a winning season. It can be a Big South Championship season.

Makes sense to me. But CSU needs to DOMINATE VMI if they are going to make any kind of statement for the remainder of the season.BJuice wrote:Charleston Southern...
