I'm sure if it was your 18 or 19 year old son out there, you'd think the same thing.AZGrizFan wrote:Biggest overreaction ever.

What a Ass hole statementAZGrizFan wrote:Biggest overreaction ever.
and the info on egriz was that he was up, walking around, and passed every test MRI, CAT scan, etc., with flying colors.griz8791 wrote:They had some very disturbing info about this on their board today just before lunch. I'm not convinced anybody really knows what's going on.
Hey, football's a rough sport. But then, I think your Wildcats found that out Saturday, didn't they?ajwildcat wrote:What a Ass hole statementAZGrizFan wrote:Biggest overreaction ever.that is.

didn't have anything to back it up, and is probably looking for another reason to be bitter towards UM.The reason that he stayed another night is that he was not responding as they had expected when the medication had worn off. Sources say he might be in a wheelchair for 4-6 months. He needs to see the best neurosurgeon in Utah and get a second opinion, stat.

Xavian update
Freshman wide receiver Xavian Johnson, who was taken off the field on a stretcher Saturday with a neck injury, spent the night at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, where he underwent CT scans, X-rays and an MRI. The initial tests did not reveal significant injury to the neck, but Johnson remained at the hospital Sunday for further observation and testing because he complained of losing some feeling in his legs after the tackle that hurt him, Weber State team trainer Joel Bass said. Johnson will be evaluated again today to see if he can be released to return to Ogden.
Johnson, who had two catches for 36 yards in the game, was hit hard in the second half by Montana linebacker Caleb McSurdy. Johnson pulled his helmet off and rolled to his side briefly before being attended to by medical personnel.
Weber State officials flew Johnson's mother to Missoula on Sunday night to be with him. McBride went to see him after the game and offensive coordinator Matt Hammer remained with him at the hospital.
My hell you really are a jack ass aren't ya? I dont think anybody is saying that football isnt a rough sport, Im not even going to claim that it was a dirty hit because it wasn't, but to be such a jack ass about this whole thing is pretty low.AZGrizFan wrote:Hey, football's a rough sport. Perhaps you should have your players look in the mirror regarding "jackass-ishness" before ya'll start casting stones. They way they treated McSurdy when he was coming over to check on the kid was fucking embarrassing for your school.

The only one saying anything like that is Z. I'm just commenting on the way Weber players reacted to McSurdy showing some concern for the guy.weberwildcat wrote:Grizalltheway wrote:

the stones are being cast at you guys, not ur griz players. how can you even talk this way about any injury. if he was ur son you would pull him out of the MRI machine and poor some beer on his wound and tell him not to be wus? that is what i am getting from this thread.
its really not a laughing matter regardless of who was injured or what team they play for.
I"d trust the Missoulian before I trusted anything posted by anybody on egriz.griz8791 wrote:Another post just went up on eGriz about somebody seeing him at St. Pat's at lunch. So much for the Missoulian claiming he is back in Ogden.
