App State vs WCU

The playoffs start Saturday for App State as The Whee enters The Rock. WCU played App tough in 09 and if there was ever a team with "nothin to lose" it's this years Kitties. Which App team will show up? The one that looked so good and agressive against GaSo or the one that sleepwalked for much of the game against Furman. :ohno:

We're hoping it's the one that is looking past WCU to the playoffs.

That's pretty much this game in a nutshell. We alway overlook y'all. Sometimes (very rarely) y'all beat us like 2004. Sometimes y'all make it a close game like 2009. But, we always overlook y'all.

The last 2 years I give WCU credit for playing hard to the last down. App shouldn't look past anyone and haven't exactly blown out inferior competition the last couple of years. Glad this one's at home as App's road record is lousy.

Fear The Wheeeee! Save the Jug!

Need to tighten up and get another (good) game experience for JJ and all those other youngsters we are playing ...

App offense looked sluggish again but the defense looked very strong. Result pretty much as expected.

Check out DeAndre Presley's stat line.

-3 of 5 passing for 51 yards.
-1 catch for 16 yards.
-2 rushes for 2 yards.
-1 kickoff return for 31 yards.
-2 tackles (one on a kick return) and a forced fumble.

And that was all when the game was competitive so he didn't get his stats during garbage time.
