in "beautiful" Chester, PA.
Talley brings his worst CAA team ever into the "neutral site" affair.
AP over/under for this one: 160yds
I expect great feedback from the throngs of Villanova fans here.
I work 10 minutes from VU's campus - think I may walk the campus tricked out in Delaware Football gear later this week.

I have the same queasy feeling.
And if the Hens team bus driver gets lost on the way home...

My dad was born in Chester, so this will be another "homecoming" week.

Will we have to go to CAAZone to see the hatefest? I don't think I've ever seen a Villanova fan here and there couldn't have been more than 3 on the other board.

Well, I don't think there are that many Villanova fans over on CAAZone either.

Not sure there are more than 3 total fans.

It depends if you count parents or siblings of players on the team. Although, even then, nova would seem to have an awful lot of orphaned kids in their program.
Hens finally win one, and rather easily in this one - 28-10 Hens.

Regardless of the outcome, I'll make sure to go to total wine and support the Delaware economy after the game. It's amazing how apathetic Villanova fans have become about this game. Is it really a rivalry when there's only hate on one side?

What's the over/under on the number of people you come across who even know their football team is playing UD this weekend? 5?

Well the last 2 posts are what a lot of people that live in the Greater Philly area found funny about VU's past flirtation with Big East football. They draw flies now where kids can fall out of bed & goto games. Move it to Chester, which saying it's the armpit of the area is being kind, and who cares who they're playing, nobody is going to go. VU's hoops STH's had to buy tix to this game & they're floating all over the place - most times just being given away. With a hoops game on Friday night I doubt you'll see many of them show - especially since VU won't be playing FBS football there ever.

That's the only diss Delaware can come up with, because they know that
Sonny Riccio was the quarterback of the last Delaware team to beat Villanova.

I don't know if that is smack towards UD or towards Nova being that Sonny Riccio beat you

Is it really? A drunk priest could run over all the Villanova fans with a Mini.

That's not really fair. I mean, nova fans have been apathetic about their football program for long while. How can you even more how "more" apathetic they are now?

I think he did. Over/under on Nova fan attendance tomorrow is currently "zero" on Five Dimes.

UD listed as an 8.5 point favorite - that's low - I like the Hens on that #.

An Oldie but Goodie;
Ummmph ......Ummmph, execuse me while I clear my throat......
Once there was a little ole hen,
Thinks he can beat a Wildcat team,
But everyone knows that hens can't
Beat Nova one bit.
But he had hiiiiiiigh hopes,
He had hiiiiiiigh hopes,
He had high apple pie in the skyyyyyyy hopes
So anytime you're feeling down,
And you're feeling low,
Just remember that hen.
Ooops there goes a Nova Touch Down,
Ooops there goes a Nova Touch Down,
Ooops there goes another Nova Touch Down.

I might be able to make this tomorrow. Is there any parking left where I'll still have wheels on my Jeep when I get back and won't have "Honky Lips" spray painted on the side?

I wouldn't sweat it - it says on the Union's website that blocks would be provided.

Union is such a perfect name for a Philadelphia sports team. They should rename the Sixers to the Clock Watchers and the Eagles to the Grievances.

The spread is down to 6.93 points with a late rush of Nova money!

I have some insider information that says you should take the over.
I'll be there.
