As much as I respect the SOCON, I say 0-4 is the best the SoCON can hope for this weekend.

I think it is officially "SoCon Fundraiser Week". Good luck to each and every one.

Define "challenge".
I'll say 45-10 for each game.

Which game will be the closest/least lopsided? I'll pick Citadel/South Carolina.

Furman/Florida, the Paladins NEED this game...its not like any of the traditional "money games" where you just try to get through the game without any injuries. If they don't win, the season is over anyways.

I would think Furman/UF simply because Florida sucks offensively.

We walked into the Swamp last year with a pretty solid team vs. a middle of the road SEC team and got our asses handed to us. I wish all of you the best, but the realist in me says they just won't be close.

I'm going to go head and guess that the SEC wins this "challenge"

I was at the App game at The Swamp and the intensity and energy from the Apps was totally missing as if they were almost going thru the motions waiting for the playoffs and with it being Senior Day of a lackluster season for the Gators they came out firing. (unfortunately the Apps looked the same way against Nova in the playoffs too). Furman has a lot more to play for this year than the Apps did last year, however I do expect a similar result. If any of these is a game it might be the Citdogs against USC without Latimore. Plus the option game of Citdogs might cause problems....nah never mind.....

Florida also needs this game to be bowl-eligible. Has the making of a fun one.

Florida is going to crush them. Bad. Let's be realistic. It's not going to be close or fun to watch. It's going to be one team getting smashed.

Bammer/GSU will be the closest.

Furman was down to Florida 37-32 going into 4th-lost 54-32. FU was up 15-0 and 22-7.
Ga Southern lost to Alabama 45-21, down 24-14 at half.
Citadel lost to South Carolina 41-20, down 20-13 at half.
Samford lost to Auburn 35-16, down 14-10 at half.
The SoCon represented well today, even in defeat.

Gotta sorta retract my predictions....I'm proud of the SoCon today. I watched most of UF/FU and pulled hard for them.

It is all part of the game, but two long passes, a blocked punt and two pick 6's lead to 35 UF points.
The guys did much better than I thought they would.

Don't buy any stocks or a lottery Ticket this week.
Dumbass.

That first 3/4 Furman team would have walked anyone in FCS yesterday.

El Cid forced Spurrier to keep his 1st team in for the whole game.
That last TD they scored was part and parcel of why Spurrier is a turd. Guess he was worried that their performance against us was going to hurt his BCS numbers. Probably correct.

Thanks. The problem this season is not knowing which team is going to show up. That one, or the one that let Teal Turkeys and Eloan hand us our asses.

Saban threw the ball for a TD with 40 seconds left and no timeouts for GSU. Hate SEC scum.
