Adjusted for local time:
12/03 12:00 PM EST Georgia Southern (Second Round) ESPN3
12/03 10:00 AM MST New Hampshire vs. Montana State (Second Round) ESPN3
12/03 11:00 AM CST Sam Houston State (Second Round) ESPN3
12/03 11:00 AM CST North Dakota State (Second Round) ESPN3[/b]
12/03 2:00 PM EST Maine vs. Appalachian State (Second Round) ESPN3
12/03 12:00 PM MST Montana (Second Round) ESPN3[/b]
12/03 2:30 PM CST Wofford vs. Northern Iowa (Second Round) ESPN3
12/03 3:30 PM EST Lehigh vs. Towson (Second Round) ESPN3
Should have the Montana State game flipped with Lehigh/TU so instead of 10 AM & 3:30 PM local, would have MSU/UNH at 1:30 PM & LU/TU noon local...
Should have Sam Houston or NDSU flipped with ASU/Maine so would have one of those 2 at 1 PM & ASU/Maine at noon local instead of 2 games at 11 AM & ASU/Maine at 2 PM.

Hmmmmm. NDSU announced the game as a 3:00 central start time. Time to do some checking...
Edit: gobison.com still shows a 3:00 start.

I could be wrong but I don't think MSU's lights are quite setup fully to handle a night game. With a 1:30pm start, that might make it too late to get the game in during daylight hours.

Towson doesn't do 12:00 PM games at all by choice of the AD. They want a good turnout by fans and the student body. That doesn't happen at 12 Noon or 1 PM Starts. All of Towson's start times are either 3:30 PM or 7 PM this year. That doesn't surprise me that they chose a 3:30 PM start.

Our tickets say 1:00PM, so 3:00EST. I saw that somewhere else too (in the paper?).
Our lights are apparently not enough for tv standards (and exiting, etc. requirements for the fans), but light up the field fairly well. I would think we could play a game later than normal, as the sun begins to set, but not a true night game.

I doubt the school has much say in the matter. W&M brought in lights for the '04 semis because ESPN picked which game to show on a Friday night.

So if what you'all are saying, ESPN has it wrong for at least 3 of the 8 game times. Someone needs to tell them to get their s*it straight, seeing as how they're the ones televising the games, and that's going to mess people up who are going by their listings to either watch or record the games...

For being a fact-centric guy, you can really be quite a moron.
These are default times just because ESPN had to put them on their schedule and the kickoff times are not official yet. That doesn't mean they're super-duper official like you think.
Guess what? The times will be changed when they become official.

No, if you think its unreasonable only 8 days out for a TV guide to have game times correct then you're the one who is a f***ing moron.

That's not the point. The point is you taking something that in no way can be right and believing it hook, line and sinker because of your slavish addiction to semantics
Stick to posting more meaningless shit in the JMU game thread.
Also, it's not uncommon for networks to dictate start times to football games with only a week's notice.

Noon kickoffs suck hairy monkey balls.... nowhere near enough tailgating time plus I have to leave the house early so it cuts into the drinking the night before. Fuck ESPN...

Here are the times I gathered from the NCAA site and/or the host school's websites:
(times are in CST, cuz that's where I am)

1 pm: Maine at App State
1 pm: Central Arkansas at #4 Montana
2 pm: Stony Brook at #1 Sam Houston State
2 pm: New Hampshire at Montana State
2:30 pm: Lehigh at Towson
3 pm: James Madison at #2 NDSU
4 pm: Wofford at #5 UNI
