Any of you BigSouth fans want to weigh in on that?

My buddy seems to think Radford would have a big following in Southwest Va.

Radford and football in the same sentence is a waste of time and energy. It is not happening and wouldn't amount to much if it did. When you can practically see Lane Stadium from your campus, I don't see much reason to believe locals would be eating Highlander football with a spoon.

Didn't realize how close Radford was to Blacksburg.

Dukie - I used to joke about Radford but gave it up...I have UVA, VT, Mason, JMU & Radford co-workers...the Radford guys catch hell but they don't play second fiddle to anyone when it comes to the work.

When you have parking near campus to shuttle people over to VT games, then you have no chance.

Duke and NCCU are both located in Durham. FAMU and Florida State are both in Tallahassee. So its not outside the realm of possibility....if they can draw 2-3k to a home game they'll be ok. Just schedule home games when VT is on the road or space put the times if you can. I'm sure the Big South would welcome them to the conference.
