C'mon APP. Didn't you guys have 130% of capacity all year? Makes me question your accounting.

If there was only 15k at KBS then I'm Armanti Edwards.
Ditto with 13k at GSU.

What did happen with the ASU attendance? Weird.

Montana looked very full today. The entire lower bowl was filled besides one portion. It must have been the upper deck that wasn't filled much (can't see it from my vantage point in the stadium)

App has shown they are susceptible to the seasonal fans. It seems they sell out the regular season because it is fashionable, but when the fans are really needed, they have all moved South for the winter.

Still, pathetic for a program that claims to have 26K at all games.

Playoffs are the best times to cheer. Montana suffers a bit from the seasonal fans, but we're louder in the playoffs. Maybe App saw the same today.

Congrats to Maine

Student body clearly couldnt be bothered with a football game today. Student section was 1/3 - 1/2 full. You know those $7 football tickets are budget killers.

The hard core die hards were there and they were all in. That's one that will be talked about for years to come-and 40,000 people will swear they were there. I'm completely whupped-I can't imagine how the players and coaches feel.

Probably still sweating bullets ;)

Congrats on your win. Go Griz and Go Cats!

Our attendance was pathetic. A lot going on today with NCAA VB tourney hear, men's BB game, and wrestling. Weather didn't help either. Frickin weather guys making it sound like we are going to be covered in ice scared off some people that would have traveled here. :ohno:

Do you really think App cooks the books on attendance? To what end? On this side of the country we sometimes get other commitments that preclude making a game 3+ hrs away. Come to Boone next year for ASU/UM and we'll show you 31K+.

Next thing you know you'll be telling us it's really cold and loud in Missoula.... :ohno:

No I don't think App cooks the books, but it sure is a lot more fun to insinuate they do.

I actually edited my original post. Stated you guys suffer from snow birds like we do. Easy to plan for the season if you have tickets, but when you only know about a game a week or two out, it is much more difficult.

By the way, I am planning on the game in Boone next year! :thumb:

NDSU had 18,020, 95% of capacity. Montana supposedly had 22,000 or so, 84% of capacity. The BIG GAMES are in Fargo!!!

Seemed like a good deal more than that in Wa-Griz from my vantage point. I was guessing 24k. I was impressed that the student section was as packed as it was.

95% > 84%. Its a sign of the fan base declining. Its the Age of The NDSU BISON.

Just to make sure we are even on insults I will call you a blubbering barrel of rancid lard!

ODU outdrew you...in the first round...on Thanksgiving weekend...100% capacity to boot. :kisswink:

edit: Actually, we outdrew everyone except Montana. :coffee:

Paulson was full, except where ODU was to allegedly bring their 2,000 to 3,000 fans. :suspicious:

UND was not in the playoff, when referring to YOU.

The crowd at Towson was a sight to see. It was 50 @noon, my dumbass wore shorts and a vest. By the end of the game, it was in the mid 30's. It was loud and cold, well at least for us east costers it was cold.

We sold all the tickets (1500) that GSU gave to ODU. Many ODU fans not willing to invest 8-1/2 hour drive without a ticket in hand. I wasn't going without a ticket, didn't know what to expect. ODU sold out their 1st game in less than 15min after they went on sell to the public.

One thing that hurts schools during the playoffs, is the students have to buy tixs.

You're supposedly an idiot

Wa-Griz was pretty full (I'd guess 23,500-24,000), other than parts of the upper deck. 5 minutes before kickoff it looked way more empty, like sub-20,000 empty.
