Well, when one is named "Assistant Head Coach", that pretty much implies that Moore is working on a succession plan...which he should, given his age.

Glad to see the prodigal son return as planned all along.
He was told by the AD that he needed to go outside our program to gain FBS experience if he was going to be considered for the HC position when Moore retires, and he did.
Some label him as a football genius. Don't know that I would go that far, but he is good. Now with having a lot more authority as Assistant Head Coach, he should be a major factor in what good assistant coaches we hire in the next few days. This would be a great opportunity for some really good assistants to learn some things working with Scott Satterfield.
This is really working out well, "losing" four assistant coaches to WCU, and evidently getting rid of two more has opened it up to bring in some good coaching minds. Looking forward to football season
