Their D is a lot better than some give credit to. But I still think UM had a slight edge on them (I don't want your numbers I've seen them).

Not necessarily a great indicator, NW. In the 5 games prior to SHSU, Montana had given up 10, 7, 10, 14, 10 and was averaging less than 300 ypg given up...

I still think NDSU does a better job of controlling SHSU's option, but I'm just sayin'....this is NOT GSU.

I know you know your ball Willie, but did you watch any GSU games this year? I was waiving the flag on GSU back when they squeaked by UTC - on this board no less. Just didn't look like a solid team to me. Too many gaps.

Both years GSU met a defense that was disciplined and lost. NDSU has the tools to win the game, but I just feel that SHSU will score too many points early on and NDSU doesn't have the offense to close the gap before the game is over.

Who exactly of quality has NDSU beaten? JMU? The 5th place team in the admittedly down CAA. Lehigh? The Patriot team with their best player sitting out.

SHSU will be so much above the competition they have played, NDSU won't be able to compensate fast enough.

IMO, our Oline will wear down their undersized Dline down in the 2nd half.

The Bison have given up 13.2 points/game this year. SHSU might double that but this game will not be a shoot-out.

Get crushed? SHSU will get some points, they are a talented team, but our lines will wear them down.

Montana made some good adjustments in their SHSU game but the 1st quarter killed them. NDSU will not give SHSU TOs like the Grizz did. NDSU can lose this game but IMO, we are a better team.

Yeah, that stalwart of a conference known as the MVFC is for sure going to prepare you for SHSU. Dude. Montana's D was solid, they just weren't ready for the speed. The LB's were out of place a little and Flanders schooled them. I wish it wasn't so, but it happened. Doesn't matter how "ready" you are, if you are out of place, SHSU will bust it just like they did against Montana.

I think NDSU had a strong defense, I am just saying SHSU plays lights out and Bohl is too conservative. I see this game playing out like the Montana game. SHSU gets up early and hangs on for a win. NDSU ain't got the horses.
