Kent State - $310k
LSU - $510K
Is it possible to get 8 wins?
God bless SFU.
And the CAA gauntlet.
We'll be lucky to get 6 wins...

Wonder who Cal Poly will get to finish their schedule out? Only 4 home games right now with 1 x FBS
game on the schedule. Do they go with the easy (read cheap) option of bringing in a DII as a 5th home game, try to get an outside shot of bringing in a FCS team, or go on the road to play a second money game or FCS team? Same shit we had to deal with this year. Scheduling out west is getting more and more difficult and just wait until conference members are no longer allowed to play one another in non-league play.

You'll have to ask TT about it. They are a new d2 or d3 school in San Antonio. Been around 2-3 years. Heard they drew a pretty decent crowd for their first game but have never followed up to see how they are now. TT was high on them when they first started.

They are also in the last stages of deciding whether to move up to DI and the Southland conference.

Yeah, 2 I-A games and who did Towson piss off at the CAA office? If the CAA pre season coaches poll go like I think it will (not necessarily how I would have it but how I think the coaches will), then TU will be:
#1/#2 ODU
@ #3 JMU
@ #4 UNH
@ #5/#6 UD
@ #7/#8 Nova
Miss #9 UR & #10 GST
So TU will be the only CAA team playing 2 I-A games and on top of that got screwed with by far the toughest CAA in-conference schedule.
Sure, Kent State is winnable, but scheduling 2 I-As was just dumb, dumb, dumb. 7 wins is a lock to get in with that schedule, but Towson will likely head in to the season favored in maybe 6 of those games, dogs in 5. 2 I-A could end costing TU a playoff spot.....

Whats the big deal about playing exhibition games now? UND played at least 3 lower division schools last year, or was it 4 and have been doing so since they begain their transition.
Its a terribly unfair scholarship advantage, one that forced UND to quit playing FCS schools in 2003 when they were D2. The UND administrators, coaches, players and fans were in unanimous agreement that the scholarship advantage FCS schools had over lower division schools like UND was terribly unfair so UND Quit playing them.
Now that UND is FCS they cant get enough D2/D3/NAIA tema on their schedule! Typical of them.

they were there, it was just my fault for not expanding the viewable area. It was using last years dimensions and since we added schools, we had to expand it. It has been fixed

From what I have heard the schedule is done and we have a home game against a FCS team for our last OOC game.

Add - @ UNLV September 8th to NAU's schedule.
http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2012/ja ... e-will-op/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I don't know if I'm a fan of opening on the road with two BCS conference schools but if there are any two "big boy" schools that NAU has a shot at beating, it's gotta be a moribund UNLV program and a starting over from scratch, tempestuous ASU. This could get ugly for the Lumberjacks or it could be fun? I lean towards "ugly" but ya never know? I understand the athletic department payday aspect behind scheduling up. But these are both nearby road games for students/staff/fans involving less athletic department travel expenditures and they both are potentially winnable games.
More frustrating is the home game vs. an RMAC school on 9/15 or 10/6 that is bound to be coming soon. There are seemingly zero out-of-conference FCS schools willing to play a road game in Flagstaff. South Dakota? U of San Diego? Anyone...please? FCS football is a southern and east coast heavy conference and these schools have nothin to gain leaving their comfort zone. They haven't and won't travel to Flagstaff in the future. Hence...the annual Fort Lewis or Western State ritual sacrifice.
