Glad to see the boys in baby blue have healed enough from the last go round to step into the ring again. Great way to open the season with a night game @ Haygood.

Yep, I couldn't figure that one out either other than it is also a private Christian school so they most likely signed a home and home contract. CSU has a history of playing other private Christian schools regardless of classification so I guess the trend continues with Shorter.nwFL Griz wrote:No offense BucDad, but that is a terrible schedule. At Shorter? Really? Then add another sub D1 in Edward Waters. I'll admit, I don't know CSU's situation...maybe they need these games for financial reasons. Just not good to see an FCS team travelling to a lower div.
Here's the full slate:
9/1 @Citadel
9/8 Jacksonville
9/15 @Illinois
9/22 @Shorter
10/6 @Stony Brook
10/13 VMI
10/20 Presby
10/27 Edward Waters
11/3 @Liberty
11/10 Gardner-Webb
11/17 @Coastal
So it's not totally out of left field then?CSUBUCDAD wrote:Yep, I couldn't figure that one out either other than it is also a private Christian school so they most likely signed a home and home contract. Man, there's nothing that pisses me off more than a school with a track around the field.SumItUp wrote:The football stadium at Shorter University seats 6,500 people, which is more than the CSU field currently does.
You would be right JAWs. CSU got thier assess spanked. The Nun's Priest wrote:Charleston Southern vs. The Citadel . . . "The Pillow Bowl"
CSU was beaten down by a D3 last year if I'm not mistaken.
As I said last season after that game, Wesley College was a damn good team. They went to the Semis in the playoffs and lost by a touchdown to the eventual national champion. Go back and watch the video of that game and you will see what I mean.Ibanez wrote:You would be right JAWs.
