Exactly.

It's nice that we actually got there, but I doubt any Griz fans actually celebrate those losses like that. lol

At least Sam Houston is not the only program to reach the title game more than once without bringing home a national title. That dubious distinction belongs to McNeese.

Frustrating too. First time they beat the Gateway's 2nd place team during the regular season then beat the Gateway's Champion in the quarterfinals. Then they lost to the Gateway's 3rd place team by 1 point in the championship game.

Then there was the time they beat the eventual national champion 38-13 during the regular season only to turn around and lose to the same team 34-14 in the championshp game.

Sam Houston lost to a better team when it got to the championship game. That was not the case in McNeese's two trips. Both times they got there only to lose to teams they should have beaten.

The NDSU BISON have never lost an FCS title game and have the best winning percentage in the playoffs in the FCS.

the big demotion Montana is experiencing now is certainly revealing. I dont think any team has been to the title game as many times as Montana and has so little to show for it yet Montana fans brag about anything and everything, including losing title games.

Winning one Title game is HARDLY a valid statistic. Winning 4 title games out of 5 or 6 appearances is better than your 1 win.

Guess what? Once upon a time, Montana was 1-0 in title games. Shit don't get no easier, Einstein. NDSU has NEVER had a target on their back. Getting to the top is a LOT easier than staying there.

I honestly wonder if these shirts are selling at all.. They are just a slap to the face of any SHSU fan that chooses to wear it. Very poor marketing idea.
