More JMU players in trouble

Post by ∞∞∞ »

HARRISONBURG — Investigators with the RUSH Drug Task Force raided the home of two members of the 2011 James Madison University football team Wednesday, seizing suspected steroids and marijuana.

Armed with a search warrant, drug investigators searched a University Fields apartment on Devon Lane, the home of former JMU defensive tackle Nick Emmons, who graduated in December with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and tight end Chris Ferguson, a red-shirt sophomore this season, who quit the team last week, according to a member of the coaching staff.

That's okay. Sports Network says they have the best recruiting class. Those bad apples will easily be replaced with Rival and Scout 4 stars.

Don't be a whiney bitch about it.

Not sure why this is news...the two accused are no longer playing for JMU.

And its not "More JMU players in trouble". Its EX players in trouble. Won't effect JMU in the least as far as next season.

I just got back from the basketball game, checked JMU's message board to read your in-game thread, and saw it.

Not being a whiney bitch- just saying its ironic that shortly after news breaks at one school that someone happens to be trolling the other teams board or newspaper to break the story...

I just now noticed the basketball thread on the JMU board. I could give 2 s***s about basketball. I have over 4k posts on the CAAZone, but you could check every JMU basketball thread and you won't see a post by me.

I take it JMU has a losing record? I assume we're talking men's basketball? I don't think JMU basketball has been good since Lefty was fired in the late 90s.

Someone needs to start a "Fulmer Cup" for FCS and keep track of all the arrests during the offseason and announce a winner in August.

It was in jest...but I don't remember taking jabs at MSU for past player's indiscretions. If I have, I am sorry.

How did the MSU/ISU game come out tonight?

I wasn't implying you did specifically. Just sayin'.

As far as the game, we apparently don't like overtime...

Personally, I could care less, as long as they are good little boys and girls while at college.

REALLY??!! I heard on the radio that MSU was down 18 in the first half with time to go. At least you guys made it to overtime. ISU is hot right now.

Down 20, came back and WERE UP 4 with a few minutes to go. Even had the lead in OT and then pissed it away. Again.

Perfect timing. Usually happens about this time of year. Right before the Cat-Griz game.

When it comes to Mickey's monkeys this kind of stuff is expected.

You wonder if D.J. Bryant was on the stuff too since he had such a hard time stopping when it came to hitting QB's late.
