A deal is in the works for a home and home between North Dakota and South Dakota. UND would be at USD in 2013 and host South Dakota in 2014.

2013 schedule for UND

8 BSC games

Our hate for the Coyotes are about a 1 on the scale. Although the USD players did trash their locker room in the Alerus Center after we beat them last season our hate for them is extremely minimal. Maybe its because we have basically owned them in football. They haven't won in Grand Forks since the mid 80's and has had some success at home against us. Where NDSU has had greater success against us most recently beating us 12 years in a row (1981-1992). UND and USD did play for a trophy (Sitting Bull Trophy) but it was retired in 2000. It was sad when USD and UND went in separate ways in getting into different conferences I know both schools wish each other luck in both getting to the playoffs and of course beating each other's in-state rivals (UND plays South Dakota State in 2013).

Will be nice to have the Yotes back on the schedule. Would love to get some sort of rotating schedule with SDSU and USD on it, as long as UND stays in the Sky. While there is a lot of travel associated for UND to be in the Sky, it is nice to have so many other D1 institutions fairly close for OOC games (USD, SDSU, NDSU, UNI).

I was at all three games. Granted SFU and Lafayette are not SHSU or Georgia Southern but they are better programs than Valpo.

Personally, I find that South Dakota is the least tolerable member of the Dakota Big 3.

They are the smallest and most poorly funded of the Dakota Big 3. The play in the crappiest facilities of the Dakota Big 3.

You can't take their word when they give it to you. They'll quiver and change their mind and do whatever SDSU thinks is best for them.

They defacate on locker-room floors of their own home venues, and vandalize the locker-rooms of opposing venues when they lose.

They are dumb enough to buy advertising and promote ticket sales in the home town of their opposition.

They're in Vermillion.

I suspect that if this series does come to fruition, The Dakota Elite 1 will spank this particular member of the Dakota Big 3 like we normally do.......................

NDSU has more active and passionate fans than any FCS school and thinks Football 365 days a year. That is why we have fans posting on every thread constantly and yes many of them are UND and other regional schools.

Would you rather not have active and passionate fan bases in FCS? Yeah we have a few crazy ones but we also have ALOT of fans that love to talk Football so you are going to find some less than perfet ones too.

Just ignore the crazy few and enjoy the rest and chill out.
