IS this worse looking FCS player NFL injury?

Post by mtgrizfan4life »

This is Joe Theismann ugly. Yes, my stomach turned, even worse when it is a GRIZ, and someone I know.

Pretty bad, but I think this one was worse (not HD, but you get the idea).

Ouch. :ohno:

I always pull for those FCS players to shine in the NFL. Tough break (no pun intended).

Terrible for Mariani, I've been really pulling for him and Sambrano.

I can't watch those types of vids, but I can look at the pics for some reason. :? I googled the injury pic and it's bad, probably on the scale of the Theismann break. Too bad for him, but I hope he's able to get back to where he was.

This is still the worst injury I have ever seen on a football field.

"Yes, well, Towson actually."

To me the Darryl Stingley injury was always the worst to watch replays of, even though the visual itself didn't appear particularly gruesome - kind of like watching the Dale Earnhardt crash video and cringing...

But yeah, Theismann getting another knee will always be the 10 on the gruesome scale, at least for NFL videos - some of the NHL skate-to-throat/face videos can be worse if you don't stomach blood too well...

On the 1 side I like this one:

Yeah, that one where the goalie gets slashed is awful. :ohno:

No ligament or tendon damage. Note the excellent ball security, as not only does he not fumble, he reaches for his leg with his hand that isn't holding the ball (after he's down on his back). Must be a very tough kid who has been taught never to give up the ball under any circumstances.
