Things you do before big games?
Anyone else do anything the day before a big game?
Tomorrow after work I will be doing some food prep for Saturday's meals. Once that is mostly done I will mix myself a nice cocktail and pop in App State v. Montana 2009 for a little viewing pleasure.
Also: Before every season starts I watch the 1995 Championship game Marshall v. Montana

I usually go online and try to read up as much as I can find about the next opponent, usually from their local paper so I can get an idea of what they're coming from and what their perspective will likely be. And it doesn't hurt to know who I should be concerned about on their team. I'm adding the Phil Steele FCS guide to this.
As for the food, I go to Applebee's or BWW's or another restaurant on Saturday AM for some food to-go so I can sit on my couch all day and plow through some wings and other deep-fried foods for a few hours. Of course, this applies to all games for me, not just the big ones.

Make sweet love to Mama Smitty. Smoke a cigar afterwards, and prepare my tailgate menu.

Home game: Pull the trailer up to the upper parking lot around 6:30 am and watch the sun come up over Roos. Stop by my friend's gas station/convenience store and shoot the breeze about all things football.
Away game: Typically work until an hour before kickoff and then, if I can, isolate from the world...

Home games: Scan CS.com and AGS to see what everyone is talking about, and follow the scores from TSN. Then head to the stadium via the train (MAX) about 1 hr before kickoff.
Away games: Scan CS.com and AGS to see what everyone is talking about. Set up game day thread for Portland State vs whoever they are playing. Get the radio out and set it up to listen to the game (but have to keep it down so as not to disturb the Duck party going on next door
).

Re: Things you do before big games?
I've been trying to find some correlation between a shirt, shoes, hat, etc. that could possibly be a good luck item but haven't found it yet. Last season my brother attended three games with me, all of which we lost.
And he's going with me to Boone tonight.

Home games:
Drink coffee while reading the gameday section of the Missoulian.
Watch highlights of the last time the Griz played that week's opponent. If we haven't played them recently enough for that I prefer to watch highlights from App State, SDSU or MSU in 2009 or MSU in 2011.
Head the to tailgate way too early.
Drink beer while talking with Mr. T, Grizo, Willie, Ursus and Alpha.
Drink beer while listening to Pols.
Eat.
Watch the game.
Away games:
Same morning stuff.
Waste the day.
Eat.
Watch the game.

Know what you mean about the Duck Party next door; I deal with both the UCLA and USC hoopla...
Day Before:
Get my 81 year old Dad set with the coverage on the computer via my niece
Bake the famous triple chocolate brownies for the tailgate
Gas up the truck
Game Day:
Drive
Gas up truck
Drive
Gas up truck (I know what you are thinking - no, it is a hybrid; it is just that freaking FAR, even for a home game)
Stagger out of truck, barely able to walk
Tailgate a little - eat brownies
Line up for free comp ticket (after gas, no $$ left for a real ticket)
Sit in crappy comp ticket seats
Watch the warm-up and start praying for the kid
Repeat next week...

I get nervous before big games, so I end up getting a little sick, so I usually cant eat anything at the game till about halftime.

Re: Things you do before big games?
Home game:
Get up around 7:00 a.m. (it is Saturday after all)
Wait for my wife to get ready so we can leave
Read the Trib sports page and catch up on all the high school scores from Fri. night
Read egriz & CSF
Put the Griz bag in the car. (bag contains, rain gear, gloves, small radio, binocs etc)
Leave on the 160 mile trip from Great Falls to Missoula
Pick up our friends and travel partners
Try to pass every car in the long line while avoiding being the one that gets stopped by a trooper
Stop in Lincoln for breakfast and visit with Griz fans have a toddy and breakfast
More road time and tune in the pre-game show, tell the women to be quiet so we can hear the radio
Arrive in time to tailgate with friends
Away game:
Same as above except for the road trip
Either watch the game on HD at home with friends or at a bar with friends.

He's not always a black cloud - we were front row in Boone when we sent EWU and Western Illinois packing a few years back. I'm hoping he's gonna get his head out of his ass this year and start being productive again.
