Hater.
I was curious so I looked it up. In Citadel's first two games combined, their opponents' passing game is 11-25 (.440) for 180 yds. with a top 3 FCS that runs a nearly identical offense they've practiced against.
App is 47-74 (.635) for 560 yds. with an FBS and top 12 FCS thrown in. El Cid better be ready for a more balanced attack this week than they've seen so far.

I have been saying all along that our defense against a balanced offense is not as good as our run defense.

I always get nervous going against you guys, especially since you're running the TO. That butt clincher in Johnson Haygood a couple of years ago shows what a tough opponent they can be, especially at home.

You mean last year.
When we went to OT in JHS two meetings ago we were running the spread.

I was talking about the one two meetings ago and pointing out (not very clearly

) that Citadel is a dangerous team no matter what they're running. Two Charleston meetings ago El Cid IIRC wasn't ranked vs. a pretty well ranked App team and you took us to the wire with the spread. Now Higgins has jumped in the fray with GSU and WoCo on some variation of the TO which is normally very difficult for us to defend. We did a good job against GSU with our young D last year so I'm hoping another year of experience on the line will allow us to improve a bit more.

I'm a hater because I picked The Citadel to win? You guys are more paranoid than I thought.

Okay everybody, from this day forth, if you pick
ANYONE over App State in a "Pick 'em" game, you made the pick because you are a "HATER", not because you thought the other team would win.
Now that we know the rules, continue to play.
Oh No..... here's another Hater....

You are way too sensitive Cat friend. Have you been able to finally rid the Catamount Pride of dirty "Boone Goons?" Step back from the ledge, it's just a message board.

Yo, the Cats....
Did you notice the

after the

? It's generally understood to be a wink, or something used as a kidding mechanism. All of this is contingent on the person receiving the wink actually possessing a sense of humor.
Pull you underwear out of your crack and take the post for what it was meant to be, simply an observation of El Cid not facing much in the way of a passing offense this season so far.

Congrats on your correct pick. The dogs were nearly unstoppable.
