I was hopeful this yr we could beat the griz and put them in a possible 10 yr draught in Ogden now I realize beating isu and unc may not happen.

What we're excited about in Portland now is that Trail Blazer camp starts tomorrow. Trying to sit there and watch Portland State attempt to stop a pass can make one insane.

I believe I predicted an 0-4 start for Weebs and was roundly harrumpfhed by the 3-4 Weeb faithful here...

Well, they did undertake a tough schedule.

And if it makes you feel any better your team did completely screw up McNeese State's season by injuring a bunch of their players. So the next week they lost to then-winless Southeastern Louisiana and for the rest of the season they will struggle.

And, no, I'm not accusing Weber State of dirty play. It's just what happened. What looked to be the best McNeese State team in many years was quickly reduced to a shell of what it was at the start the season.

I was expecting a very competitive game with Weber State. Nothing the first half went your way at all. The second half slowed down to boredom. The refs were obviously the rejects from the NFL rejects.

it is not an uncommon chant heard at weber during basketball season - "big sky refs sucks clap clap, clap clap clap.

Is the Weber fanbase/alumni/donor groups getting on the ADs ass about the scheduling? Weber does the same thing as EWU, which is scheduling in ways that do nothing but cause problems for the team. Any AD should see value in putting a manageable schedule forth that gives your team the best chance of success and mkaing the playoffs, not seeking a few payouts.

It seems like Weber State does this kind of scheduling a lot, and it really never works. Or at least it makes it far more difficult than it needs to be to make the playoffs. Eastern does the same thing, and I know the AD is starting to take heat for how stupid some of the games are and his aversion to playing at home.
