This is exactly why I haven't had MSU ranked in my Top 5 all year. They've looked way too shaky.

Ags make it interesting, drive down to the Cat 15, but come up short.

The better team won tonight, but if MSU is the #2 team in the country, then Davis is definitely top-25

MSU shouldn't be #2. Top 10 sure, but not #2.

I was kinda digging the UC Davis stadium. Cool bowl configuration there with the grass seating on the ends. Looks easily expandable, too.

Montana State got kinda lucky when the QB misread the DT and threw the INT to the defensive linemen. :dunce:

Montana State plays almost indentical in philosophy to Eastern 2010 championship team. They play down to the level of their opponent and don't know how to blow a team out... even when they should.

That said, head-up would be very hard for me to pick Eastern over the Bobcats next week. I think Eastern will move the ball fairly well, but I'm not sure the Eagle D will come up with enough stops. Plus, cold weather and high altitude are hard enough to overcome, but Montana officiating and 20,000 S'Cat fans will make it even tougher.

Certainly, Eastern *can* win this game, and talent-wise, I think EWU might even have an edge. But I still have a lot of questions about Eastern's toughness. It'll take a near-perfect showing for the Eagles to win.
