Nope...They all play each other. Somebody has to win.89Hen wrote:Can't they all?

But, but... what about women's basketball, volleyball and soccer? UNC and ISU have done well in sports nobody cares about.Grizalltheway wrote:Can we just boot UNC and ISU out of the conference? Talk about dead weight.
Every conference needs a bitch.biobengal wrote:But, but... what about women's basketball, volleyball and soccer? UNC and ISU have done well in sports nobody cares about.Grizalltheway wrote:Can we just boot UNC and ISU out of the conference? Talk about dead weight.
Face it, you need us... just like the ACC needs Vandy, the Pac-12 needs Wazzu and the MAC needs UMass.
Silly? Sure. Imature? You betcha! College? Nope, finished that two years ago.BigSkyBears wrote:Grizalltheway wrote:Can we just boot UNC and ISU out of the conference? Talk about dead weight.
You're a silly college kid.
Weber and UNC actually try in their games. What I saw from Idaho State, they all have thrown in the towel, the players and the coaches. Can't see ISU even being competitive.weberwildcat wrote:Which school will finish 0-8? Weber, UNC or ISU
Again, that's a bogus football-centric argument. While I'm not sure about ISU, UNC has made some pretty good contributions to the conference in other sports. While they are clearly dragging tail in football, as a whole, they are hardly "dead weight...."Grizalltheway wrote:Can we just boot UNC and ISU out of the conference? Talk about dead weight.
Is Big Human done if they go oh-fer the conference?Mvemjsunpx wrote:NoCo hosts Idaho State & Weber hosts NoCo, so ISU is the favorite for winlessness.
ISU hosts Weber, though, so we could avoid seeing a winless team. I'm guessing the Wildcats win that one, however, since they never lose to the Bengals.
Doubtful.SuperHornet wrote:Is Big Human done if they go oh-fer the conference?Mvemjsunpx wrote:NoCo hosts Idaho State & Weber hosts NoCo, so ISU is the favorite for winlessness.

Not even close. Zamberlin got 4 years. Kramer is also severely hampered by ISU's APR situation.SuperHornet wrote:Is Big Human done if they go oh-fer the conference?Mvemjsunpx wrote:NoCo hosts Idaho State & Weber hosts NoCo, so ISU is the favorite for winlessness.

This is the consensus on the ISU board. No reason to toss him out, he has won the BSC COTY a few times right? It's just going to take a boat load of patience from their fans and a boat load of support from their admin.Mvemjsunpx wrote:Not even close. Zamberlin got 4 years. Since the 2004 season when UNC went D1Darell1976 wrote:I don't think UNC has had a winning record since they moved up from DII. ISU hasn't had a winning record since...please someone remind me. WSU won't go 0-8, and to think some fans wanted to boot UND from the conference before the season started, well at least we can win.
I just don't get it, UNC was an NCC powerhouse in DII. They were tough under Joe Glenn. Moving up really killed that program.clenz wrote:Since the 2004 season when UNC went D1Darell1976 wrote:I don't think UNC has had a winning record since they moved up from DII. 04: 2-9 outscored by 108 points
05: 4-7 outscored by 30 points
06: 1-10 outscored by 244 points
07: 1-11 outscored by 279 points
08: 1-10 outscored by 101 points
09: 3-8 outscored by 86 points
10: 3-8 outscored by 70 points
11: 0-11 outscored by 175 points
Since their move to D1, not including this year, they are 15-74 and been outscored by 1,093 points.
If you want to include this year it goes to 16-79 being outscored by 1,156.
Of those 16 wins only 9 of them were against full scholarship D1 teams at the time of the game.....and 3 of those were against Idaho State.
Idaho State had a winning record in 02 and 03, but were actually outscored in 03...only once in their history did they have more than 8 wins (1981), and they have just 7 seasons with more than 7 wins in program history
I can see why Big Sky fans don't like having them in the conference...The MVFC has felt the same way about Indiana State up until last year
