MVFC Week 8 Thread

After finally recovering from NDSU's collapse last weekend and me picking 1-4 in the Valley I think we can move on to this Saturday...gotta love the Valley.
Missouri State @ #11 Illinois State
Illinois State remains impressive on their 2012 campaign. I'll take them winning easily at home.
#20 South Dakota State @ Northern Iowa
I want to call SDSU the most underrated team in FCS football, but what do I know. I'll take them on the road.
#4 North Dakota State @ South Dakota
If the Bison don't win by at least 4 TD's I'll probably not be happy with their performance over a bad SD team. Should be more Bison fans at this one than South Dakota fans, I'll take the Bison bouncing back big. (Now that's alliteration)
#21 Indiana State @ Western Illinois
Western Illinois is a physical team but I don't think they can do enough against Indiana State. I'll take the Sycamores on the road.
Game of the Week
Southern Illinois @ #15 Youngstown State
Southern Illinois is coming off 2 big wins, YSU off 2 big losses. Both are very much alive in the playoff race with a win this weekend. Call me crazy, but I'll take Southern Illinois on the road.

Are we contenders or pretenders? UNI is still UNI. If you want to be the big kid on the block you have to push the other one down. Jacks win.

South Dakota is no Indiana State, even though I wish they were. Not to mention the endless hours of entertainment from a full meltdown Bisonville would provide if the prairie poodles were to win. However, the Bison will win handily.

Close but no cigar for the Leathernecks, they'll lose in a squeaker. Zenner(SDSU) carved this team up, but let's face it Shakir Bell is no Zach Zenner.

Much like SDSU, SIU needs to prove it's a contender not a pretender. I think they do it. Taking Salukis.

I agree, SDSU has an impressive road win at Indiana State but a road win at UNI really solidifies you guys as contenders. I'm prepared for a great game in Fargo in a few weeks.
As a die-hard bison fan, I can't even handle BisonVille.

The Valley does it again...Missouri State over Illinois State!? Are you kidding me!? And what UNI did to SDSU. Crazy. I am proud of my SIU pick. Salukis will be scary in Fargo next weekend.
