I will attempt to blog my journey to Towson for the big matchup of CAA Preseason #1 and #2 (also the final 2011 CAA #1 and #2).

Did you wake up at 4:29 am to get there?

Just finished a 4.46 mile run/walk and a shower. Deciding on what to wear. Always have to sport the colors on the road. Not sure how cold it will be.
Since I am not flying the following rule applies: Pack everything and ask questions later.

Bullsh*t. No tolls heading south as long as you bypass that horsesh*t Delaware toll on 95

Just took care of a few errands and packed 14 airplane bottles of the Captain. Case of Bud Light is in the refrigerator chillin for the 3-1/2 hour bus ride up.
This bus better have a toilet.

APB: Out of control ODU fan approaching Towson...he's packing.

45 minutes until I leave the house. Hoping to drop a turd before I leave otherwise it will be a good 13 hours until I see a decent crapper (hotel).

Just received text from the trip's ringleader that they have departed from the campus. They will be here in about 45 minutes to pick me and my tailgate neighbor up. Time to head out to the rendezvous point.

I'm not a praying, religious man (except on game-winning FGs), and suspect natural law rules the Universe. Likely to go with the Big Bang,too. So, look past those foibles of mine and stop this. It's the Who Cares? Game of the Week.

Lord. You know I'm a fair main, too. So, could you smite the ODU video production crew? Nothing major -- inflamed boils or crotch-locust will be fine. The dozens of interested viewers on the interwebz will praise you. Replacement monkeys will suffice (note lack of Scopes joke, here!)

If you see fit to answer these prayers, could you also smite The Woffle (with prejudice) this afternoon? We don't have to hang 70 points on them this time, but 225 yards rushing would renew a lot of faith, especially if it went along with 4 TD passes from JJ.

At rendezvous point. Waiting on bus.

Bus is awesome. Think Madden. 2 TVs and booths and couches. Only 7 of us on board. First Bud Light has been cracked

Exiting I-64 and gettIng on I-95 North. Watching Va Tech - Clemson game.

Passing Fredericksburg now. Pick 6 for Clemson.

Oughta be in Merlin by now. Almost in Ballmer hon.

I just ran into Bluehenbillk in the Gold Lot at The Tub. Needless to say, we are absolutely stoked about this juggernaut UD team facing off against powerhouse Rhode Island. You could cut the excitement with a knife (if you had an ODU fan around - they carry knives).

Just got on the beltway around Baltimore. 15 minutes until normal tailgate time (4 hours before kickoff). Drinking will soon get serial.

Pulling in to Towson. Underwhelmed.

I felt the same way when I went through B-More on the Amtrack. Actually, it was more like "sweet Jesus, I hope this thing doesn't stop here for more than 10 minutes".
