Future Schedules

Since UNI's season is well over and done with....yes I realize there are games left and I will still pull for W's in every game....I thought I'd start a thread about future schedules for FCS teams.
UNI already has 11 games scheduled for next year (its' a 12 game season) and working on trying to find a 12th.
So far UNI has
2013:
Aug 31 @ Iowa State
Sept. 21 @ Northern Colorado (first game of a home and home)
Oct. 5 @ North Dakota State
TBD vs. Drake (first time getting Drake to come to Cedar Falls since 05)
TBD @ Illinois State
TBD @ South Dakota State
TBD vs. Western Illinois
TBD vs. South Dakota
TBD vs. Southern Illinois
TBD vs. Youngstown State
TBD @ Missouri State
TBD HOME/AWAY YET UNKNOWN
Here is a a couple tweets from UNI AD Troy Dannen earlier today on it
@TroyDannenUNIAD: Making progress on future FB schedules. 11 games set for 2013 and working on #12. Getting close on a big 11th game in 2014 #want12in14too
@TroyDannenUNIAD: At Iowa State, home vs Drake and at Northern Colorado in 2013. Calendar allows a 12th game and we will take advantage of it
I'm hoping that 12th game is a home game vs. school like Robert Morris or someone like that to get to 6 home games - and I assume that UNI is putting massive buy out clauses on all of these OOC games after the Savannah State screw over.
2014:
Sept. 6 Northern Colorado
Aug 30 at Iowa
8 MVFC games - Indiana State back, don't know who is dropped for the rotation
2 OOC games TBD
2015:
Sept 5 at Iowa State
8 MVFC games
2016:
Sept 3 at Iowa State
8 MVFC games
2017:
Sept 2 at Iowa State
8 MVFC games
2018:
at Iowa
8 MVFC games
Pay outs for Iowa/Iowa State games
2013, Iowa State, $350,000
2014, Iowa, $550,000
2015, Iowa State, $350,000
2016, Iowa State, $400,000*
2017, Iowa State, $400,000*
*-Or 20 percent of net ticket receipts, whichever is greater, for ISU games in 2016 and 2017.

EWU's schedule next year is brutal. I'd argue even worse than 2011's.
BOLD = FBS
Italics = D-II
Black = Away
Red = Home
2013 (12 game year)
AUG 31 -
@ OREGON STATE
SEP 07 -
Western Oregon
SEP 14 -
@ TOLEDO
SEP 21 - BYE
SEP 28 - @ SHSU
OCT 05 -
vs. Weber
OCT 12 - @ UND
OCT 19 -
vs. SUU
OCT 26 - @ Montana
NOV 02 - @ ISU
NOV 09 -
vs. MSU
NOV 16 - @ Cal Poly
NOV 23 -
vs. PSU
Toledo and OSU will both be very good, veteran teams returning many starters. As will SHSU, at their place, and WOU is a non counter of course. That leaves us 8 games to get 7 wins. We'll certainly have a team that can do it, but we're leaving no room for error.

That Toledo game is terrible. And once again, one home game in September and we'll more than likely have to run the table after that to get an at-large.

I see the potential for EWU to win every game...losing three is more likely. The only games where I even see a loss possible for the Eagles (barring injury or a bad recruiting season) are OSU, SHSU, MSU, and CP. The Eags will probably take at least one of those, too.

NDSU 2013
Sat, Aug 31 at Kansas State
Sat, Sep 07 Montana State
Sat, Sep 21 Western Carolina
Sat, Sep 28 at South Dakota State (Dakota Marker) *
Sat, Oct 05 Northern Iowa *
Sat, Oct 12 Missouri State (Homecoming) *
Sat, Oct 19 at Southern Illinois *
Sat, Oct 26 at Indiana State *
Sat, Nov 09 Illinois State (Harvest Bowl) *
Sat, Nov 16 at Youngstown State *
Sat, Nov 23 South Dakota *
At Manhattan, Kansas will be the toughest football team NDSU has ever played. Can't wait to make the trip down. Non-conference is not easy with Montana State coming to the dome the week after. Be very happy to start 1-1 next year which I think is very reasonable considering we lose nothing. The Western Carolina game is still on the schedule but the rumor is with all their FBS games that they are paying us off and we'll have to find another game. Expect NDSU to stay with 11 games unless something perfect rolls around for a 12th.
2014 includes an FBS game at Ames, Iowa vs. Iowa State and then Montana at home.

I see the potential for NDSU to win 'em all as well. Before you go off your rockers, though, guys, I said POTENTIAL, not a done deal. The only games on that sched that even remotely resemble a loss for NDSU are the first two, IN St, and Mr. Popper. NDSU likely finishes AT LEAST 9-2, though.

You obviously have no idea how good Toledo is.
http://goeags.com/genrel/releases/12fbJuly10Toledo" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Toledo is coming off a 9-4 season in 2011 under first-year head coach Matt Campbell, including a 42-41 victory over Air Force in the Military Bowl. The Rockets finished 7-1 and as co-champions in the MAC West Division, but suffered a 63-60 shootout loss to fellow co-champ Northern Illinois, which advanced to the MAC title game.
The Rockets finished the 2011 season ranked eighth in the FBS with an average of 42.2 points per game, including a six-game stretch in which they averaged 51.5. They also ranked 10th nationally in total offense with an average of 481.3 yards per game.
When the Eagles and Rockets meet in 2013, UT will still be loaded on offense. Terrance Owens will be a junior this season, and as a sophomore he ranked sixth in the FBS in passing efficiency rating (169.2). He completed a MAC record 72.2 percent of his passes and finished with 2,022 yards, 18 touchdowns and only three interceptions.
Other standouts on offense who should be back in 2013 are wide receiver Bernard Reedy, the 2011 Military Bowl MVP who caught 40 passes last year; David Fluellen, who has rushed for more than 700 yards in two seasons; Zac Kerin, a second-team All-MAC center; and Greg Mancz, who earned Freshman All-America honors at guard.
So far this year they're 8-1, their lone loss by 7 points at Arizona.

I look forward to your beatdown of the Vandals. Too bad Blackmon had to fail a
3rd drug test and got kicked off the team... they might've been competitive.

JFC EWU, what the fuck....however ours looks brutal as well.
We are at Arizona State and at San Jose State next season. Not sure who will be our last OOC game but if we can land a home FCS opponent it will no doubt be a home D2 game to get us 5 home games. I don't think our Pac-12 luck will sustain for 3 straight years and SJSU has finally found respectability again.
BTW is next season a 12 game season for FCS?

SD: That happens IF ASU doesn't get cold feet and try to buy us out so they can schedule a true patsy.
ODU: What the heck did you fans do to deserve THAT?!? That's a Weber-style "schedule yourself out of the playoffs" schedule if I ever saw one. That said, I think you take out the Pirates and the Bungles.

These FBS programs pay FCS teams to come because they need a home game and a tune up game. The idea that they would "duck" an FCS team is ridiculous.

Sure, it's ridiculous. But it happens, SD. You win too many times, they avoid you.

I don't think so, and Colorado is a gawd awful team. No one will look at our win over them and think that we should be avoided because of it.

The Gophers will not schedule NDSU anytime soon for this very reason.

Oh and NDSU, Western bought out your game for a THIRD FBS game with Auburn. They open at Virginia Tech, then travel to MTSU the following week and play Auburn in November. They'll put in a D2 home game somewhere in there.
