I disagree with the NCAA yet again.
I do agree that we need to be reasonable with our former foes. UND upheld a vision I hold. The Souix were not conqured, they were overcome. Fighting Souix is a name that should be cherished.
But if wiser folks say so, I say FIGHTING WHO? is the answer. I can think of over 20 lead entrance songs. Plus a few who may even keep the folks in the stands at half-time.
The Fighting WHO?

As an avid Dr. Who fan, I would find myself rooting for North Dakota on a regular basis if they were to become the Fighting Who.DMoo531 wrote:I disagree with the NCAA yet again.

With a change of spelling to avoid NCAA censors, how about the Fighting Suzies?

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
