FCS Stadium Competition

I thought it would be cool to develop an 8 Stadium Bracket competition on this site to see who has the best FCS Stadium Around. The tough part will be narrowing the current field down to 8; so I need your help; I am going to post 8 Stadiums that I believe for sure should be on the list; and I want you guys to see how good my list if; if you believe someone else should or not; then maybe do a [Vote-In Round for the 7th and 8th stadiums.]

The voting will be completely out of order, I don't want to go by seed, too many people will bitch about who should be where, so it will be completely random and I will pull the names out of a hat. Sound Fair? The stadiums are limited to the teams that make the playoffs, that is why I don't have teams like Southern and Yale, etc... because I know they have great stadiums!

Eight Stadiums [No Particular Order, I put them as they came off my head!]
1- Washington-Griz Stadium [Montana]
2- Stambaugh Stadium [Youngstown St.]
3- Delaware Stadium [Delaware]
4- Finley Stadium [Chattanooga]
5- Paulson Stadium [Georgia Southern]
6- Kidd Brewer Stadium [Appalachian State]

Vote-IN Rounds for 7-8 spots
Alex G. Spanos Stadium [Cal-Poly]
Bridgeforth Stadium [James Madison]
Cowboy Stadium [McNeese State] ADDED
Roy Kidd Stadium [Eastern Kentucky]
FargoDome [North Dakota State]
You Add More!

Can we just save us all the trouble and say Wa-Griz right now? :) Seriously.. 23,000 that's hosted the Rolling Stones, and now a 2000 expansion. Ya can't beat that! :)

You can probably add in whatever the Jackrabbits play in.. can't remember it's name off the top of my head. Probably need the UNI Dome too.

SDSU seats 13,000; and in all honesty: It isn't that nice.

UNI seats what like 15,500; but I just think the FargoDome is nicer.

This is more than just seeing who is #1; in the end we can seed them all up!

I have to disagree with PGE Park in Portland. It's a AAA baseball stadium that they play football in. Also, there is very little parking available so it's not only tough to get to but there's little room for tailgating. Just a bad football facility in my view.

Yah I had heard the same to you, I simply added it since it seats 20,000 and is rounded around seating. It's fine for me to remove prior to the voting!

I'll definitely vote in the FFD. The atmosphere is great for dome, the tailgating is top notch, the pre game festivities could be the best in the nation, and the crowd level will be deafening!! Also has hosted many concerts such as Garth Brooks (twice), AC/DC, Kenny Chesney, Faith Hill, WCW, Shania Twain, Dixie Chicks (largest crowd on their tour that year), and many more!

The Fargodome has hosted the Rolling Stones, so you can't go by that.
NDSU has won at Wa-Griz every time they have played, the Bison like Wa-Griz. ;)

Cal Poly's Alex G. Spanos Stadium is on it's way up the list, but needs to replace the east side stands before it is mentioned near the top. Once completed with a new capacity of 22,000, it will be in the top ten IMO.

UC Davis' new Aggie Stadium is very impressive.

The only thing that makes KBS nice are the amount of fans and the scenary. After the press/skybox renovations and added seating capacity to the east side, it will be one of the top 5 facilities in the FCS. I believe Willie Nelson has played in KBS!!!

That is why I put KBS up there; the new press facility, and the atmosphere in a beautiful mountain scenery each and every single week!

Cmon back. Something tells me the Bison wouldn't like Wash-Griz anymore!

Ya know, I think that is total BS. Why not be playoff eligible immediately? It's not like an upper classification moving down, you are moving up for craps sake and if you are good enough immediatly then you should be allowed in.

I think NDSU is going to be a force to be reckoned with as soon as they are playoff eligible.

We knew the rules going into it....I guess we will make it one more year.....but it is about as satifying as comparing masturbation to sex with a hotty...... :D
