Well done UNC. For those of us not in the know, what is the reason for the turn around? Young players finally coming around? Better QB play? Better game planning?

It's a lot of things. Mainly being that we were astonishingly young last season (like playing 3 true freshmen in the secondary kind of young) and the seniors we did have last year were, save one or two, just not very good. The balance on offense has improved as well and there was some reshuffling of the coaching staff that has had a positive impact.

Answer my question. It was actually an honest one, I promise.
As free says, it's a lot of things. I think coach Collins brought in some JC and FBS transfers that helped a ton. Our defense has always been pretty good this season but at the start of the season our offense was horrible and they were always putting the defense in bad spots. Lobato was really struggling. However, he's really turned it around the past few games.
I dont want to sound like a jerk for saying this, I really am happy for UNC, but I would be more impressed with thier wins if they werent against 3 teams that are a combined 5-25

Hey, beating bad teams is better than losing to bad teams, and we've lost to a lot of bad teams in the last few years.

A win this weekend against UND would be big for the Bears, possibly solidifying their stature as best mediocre team in the BSC this year, huge improvement over chronic status as the Oyster Shit of the BSC, now being closed in on by ISU.

Thanks for the responses. I agree UNC has had a decent defense in recent years, and when we played you guys earlier this season the line play on both sides of the ball wasn’t bad. UNC just couldn’t get much offense going. If you guys are getting decent QB play, that should make a ton of difference.
Has this turn around quelled the naysayers on the UNC board?

Yeah, that board is only busy when there's shit to be said. When things are going well, it's a ghost town.

That's too bad. It's been eerily quiet on our board as well.
