I'm reading that Trent Miles, who turned Indiana State from the worst FCS program to respectable is leaving to take over the Georgia State position?
What the hell man?

Also remember....
Trent Miles play WR for Indiana State
Went to high school in Terre Haute, Indiana
Was born in Terre Haute Indiana.
This is very bad news for the future of ISU football.

Great coach, and he can't make that Georgia State team any worse. But man, taking a crappy FCS football team to the Sun Belt just sounds like a terrible job to me.

Indiana State could be okay though, they have the talent in place now as long as a new coach can come in and keep recruiting they can stay a winning program.

I question how well they'll be able to hold onto it all though.
They just lost their best coach ever....a guy who grew up in Terre Haute, played for Indiana State....IS A SYCAMORE....
He bolts for a job that is worse than the one (AT HIS ALMA MATER) he took a couple years ago.
Something smells very fishy about this for ISUb....

I mean it was obviously either about money for him or the fact that he thinks he can make something out of Georgia State and keep moving up the ranks to a good FBS job.
Hopefully they find someone good, the talent is out there they just need to find it and get it to Terre Haute.

That all depends on the next guy.
Exhibit A for ruining a decent FCS program: Steve Mooshagian.

Yeah that's why I said could. If they get a good coach in there, the foundation is set. But doesn't take much to lose everything they've established.
