#6 Georgia Southern (10-3) @ #1 North Dakota State (12-1)
FCS Semi-Final
Gate City Bank Field at the Fargodome
Fargo, North Dakota
Friday, December 14
7pm CST
Last year this game was amazing to be at, excited to welcome Georgia Southern's #1 rushing offense yet again. I'm expecting another game like today with the Bison winning by 10.
Can't wait!!

I don't like GSUs chances now that you've experienced the TO from WoCo.

It looks like a different monster than Wofford. Wofford's fullback was a truckload for NDSU.

EB was very good for sure.
GSU's option is more of an 'outside' or perimeter option and the QB keeps it more. Wofford's is more EB up the middle.

Swope was plowing through ODU today as well. Was surprised how much GSU ran up the gut early. They didn't really start hitting the perimeter heavy until later in the game. Swope set it all up early.

I like to think our D is a little better than ODU's
Georgia Southern's TO will definitely keep our coaching staff busy this week.

This is a tough one, but I think NDSU prevails at home by something like 24-21.

I don't really think it matters if it is Fri or Sat.
Should be a sell-out.

With NDSU playing Friday, it gives EWU a chance to get the maximum number of tickets sold, that they are going to sell on Saturday, making a few more bucks for the NCAA.

They're the 5th seed, but I was just using the teams rankings from TSN.

It also would have been a 5pm start out there, not ideal for attendance.

NDSU 27 GSU 10. Should be a much different game than last season. a few turnover away from it being 28-21 last season or so. i think our passing game does better against GSUs D plus we have Gebhart back

27-14 NDSU, GSU gets a rushing TD and a defensive TD.

GSU 28 NDSU 27
I would have predicted a 10 point victory, but I accounted for GSU missing three field goals. Even a dome won't help.

Normally I don't make predictions, but I'm going with NDSU 20, GSU 14. It'll be close with NDSU minus a few of their guys who gave GSU fits last year (Juckem and Heagle, in particular).

Perry is out. Juckem played saturday and I haven't heard anything on him being out.
Plus LaVoy moved back to DT. He is a big body that played DT before and he is good.
Bison 31-13

I saw this game last year & it wasn't pretty. Granted Jaybo Shaw wasn't a running threat & McKinnon is, but NDSU just saw a version of this offense last week, it's in the dome, save yourself the 3 hours, it'll be a Bison victory.

Yes, McKinnon concerns me more than Swope.
