But this match up between CSU and CCU week 10 is looking like an epic battle with serious playoff implications.

Any NFL material in this showdown!!!!bucs90 wrote:But you're right, don't overlook PC. PC used to own CSU every year. Not sure why or how PC got this bad this quick. When they were D2, they were a powerhouse and beat 1-AA teams fairly often. They move up, and now they are bad.
I'll say. Presby in 2014 should go at least 3-2 in Conf., maybe challenge for the title in 2015......Hoseinexile07 wrote:..... we have a lot of new personnel in right now and although we're thin on defense due to injury, the offense is loaded with excellent receivers and now with a QB who can actually deliver them the ball.
That is the funniest thing I have ever read on here.kdinva wrote:I'll say. Totally agree, BucDad! I was going to address his statement, but then I just decided to leave it alone and let the results on the field speak for themselves.CSUBUCDAD wrote:Keep doubting the Bucs, it has worked well for them all years.
Hey, I admitted that CSU has done well. History was not repeated this season. I'm even rocking a CSU pull over today.CSUBUCDAD wrote:@kendradad-The doubters were here at the start of the season saying no way we would even come close to hanging with The Citadel and we know what happened there. Next was the slaughter we were going to see at the hands of Appy and we see what happened there. Keep doubting the Bucs, it has worked well for them all years.
I respect you a lot, you have always been a classy poster. However for the last few years, you have also been very positive the Bucs were going to have a winning season, turn around season, etc. It didn't quite work out for you did it? I don't have a dog in this fight, I just like FCS football. I hope you win the rest of your games, but being ranked 16-17 based on beating no one? The Citadel and Appy would be huge wins in past years, but this year, not so much. I suspect you guys will beat another nobody in Presby tomorrow, but will lose your last 3 games of the season. I hope I am wrong. However being ranked as high as you are, with your schedule is ludicrous. Do you really think you would have a prayer to beat any ranked team below you, or W&M or Delaware who are not ranked? That is my point. Good luck my friend.CSUBUCDAD wrote:@kendradad-The doubters were here at the start of the season saying no way we would even come close to hanging with The Citadel and we know what happened there. You're right man, ya'll were legit when you were D2. I remember Todd Cunningham, best QB I ever played against.Hoseinexile07 wrote:The answer to your question is this: we owned y'all because we had a slate of great coaches who (A) knew what they were doing and (B) refused to suffer fools or slackers. At the time we began our transition in 2007, the inept AD (not the guy we have now) got sideways with Tommy Spangler, the head coach. Spangler left for LA Tech and we hired the clown Bobby Bentley after passing on Harold Nichols. Well, turns out Bobby likes being a big fish in a small pond, so he left PC all of a sudden and went back to Byrnes High School (two weeks before signing day to be exact) after having ruined our program with a culture of form and flare over substance and grit. We realized the terrible mistake we had made, hired Harold, and he has been attempting to build the program his way while at the same time cleaning up the mess Bobby made.
It also didn't help that in 2011 our really dynamic starting quarterback was expelled for academic violations. We've had an anemic offense ever since. However, we have a lot of new personnel in right now and although we're thin on defense due to injury, the offense is loaded with excellent receivers and now with a QB who can actually deliver them the ball.
