Montana has to win. There is no other option. They got seeded over the best team in the FCS, NAU, which is a fucking joke. No way anyone else wins this. :coffee:

If NDSU ends up playing and beating SELA, they'll 3 peat...if not, my vote goes to the Lions as the next National Champions.

You and your southern bias. I assume you'll be rooting for B-C if they play the Griz? :ohno:

SDSU vs NDSU in an all MVFC matchup......
SDSU has a pretty clear cut road to the championship, couldn't ask for better matchups than some weakass Big Sky conference.....although there is a 50% chance of our players being struck blind by that fresh roadkill colored field in Washington......could be the biggest issue threatening our team, that and rain.......
If SELA is NDSU's biggest competitor, it really sucks that NDSU's 3rd string will get that much playoff experience in preparation for next year. :coffee:

If you're going to attempt to talk weak ass smack at least bone up one some geography, genius. :dunce: Cheney, WA is 200 miles of Columbia Basin Desert from anywhere it even starts to rain. Hence...EASTERN Washington U. Not to mention that when it precipitates here in December, it's usually snow. Our predicted highs for next week are in the teens. :coffee:

Besides you should be hoping at this point your boys don't cramp up from all that heat in Arizona. :dunce:

EIU's QB will probably win the Payton Award.

It always amazes me when you see a guy like Mariani go off against a zone defense, that the defense can go play after play after play without finding the same receiver. Wouldn't one of the defensive coaches just grab the back 7-8 and say "if #80 crosses your face, stick to him like glue because that's where the throw is going!"

Eastern did the same shit this weekend. Portland State only has two receivers that pose even the smallest threat, and by the end of the game, they were only employing one of the two. Seriously, every time the QB dropped back, he was looking for the same guy, and it was like he'd find these 10 yard gaps in the zone. Embarrassing.

Agreed. But he does have slightly less total yards and a lower completion percentage than VA. What's amazing about both is that each team has really solid rushing attacks too.

I definitely wouldn't say it's a "done deal". Adams has the same number of TD's (2 more passing for Garoppolo vs. 2 more rushing for Adams). Adams has a better passing efficiency rating, better completion percentage, and more rushing yards. Adams sure looks like the better all-around QB to me. :coffee:

1. QB Jimmy Garoppolo, Eastern Illinois, Sr.
320-492, 4489 yards, 48 TDs, 8 INT, 65.0%, 170.6 pass eff., 374.1 yds/gm, 54 carries, 46 yards, 0.9ypc, 2 TDs in 12 games.

2. QB Vernon Adams, Eastern Washington, Soph.
261-393, 4059 yards, 46 TDs, 12 INT, 66.4%, 185.7 pass eff., 338.2 yds/gm, 105 carries, 491 yards, 4.7ypc, 4 TDs in 12 games.
