That can't be as bad as that zillion-dollar HS stadium in TX that is now condemned for cracks in the foundation, right?

I was actually in Lake Charles when that storm hit. Had a bearing go out on my driver's side front wheel the previous afternoon then had to get up and get my truck some place for repair early the next day. It was an adventure as there was lots of street flooding. Later my sister in law told me they got 3 inches in one hour. Also got more on both sides of that. You can have a very good drainage system and it'll still be overwhelmed by that kind of precipitation intensity.

Just saw on The Weather Channel that Lake Charles received just under 7 inches of rain today... :shock:
