3? That seems too high an estimate. The only other diehard Lumberjacks fan I can think of is King. But King only lurks here @ cs.com. King is the other poster on NAU's forum. When I say other I mean two people....total....no shit. We have two way conversations on there. It's a lonely life being an NAU fan. Kinda sad because their overall athletics program is starting to show some spark.

All of the folks who were posting here last year (and a few were making friends and influencing people in the process) disappeared at the end of NAU's football season. I'm betting there's a resurgence if NAU wins their final three games this year.

I'm going out on a limb and predicting 6 total by the end of football season.

I've wondered how new people find this site. I came over with the initial group in July 2007 when CS began. Aside from bodoyle and Beachdude, i'm the only active CCU poster.


Btw, NAU is a beautiful campus. I had the privilege of touring it several years ago.

Get the facts straight if you are gonna piss on NAU.

The total attendance stands at 30,749 fans in three games, an average of 10,249 per game. During the 2012-13 season, the program drew just 33,936 in all five of its games, a total the school is likely to surpass during this week’s fourth game against UC Davis.

There are only 3 fans on here because generally NAU fans are more intelligent and have more important things to do.

Oh and NAU is by far the best overall sports program in the Big Sky...the school has won a pair of Presidents’ Cups from the Big Sky Conference and came away with both the men’s and women’s All-Sports Trophies last year.

Any championships since 2007?

For the second straight season, Northern Arizona finished first overall in athletic points. The Lumberjacks claimed the Men's All-Sports Trophy and the Women's All-Sports Trophy in May. Northern Arizona compiled 141.8 total points.

Northern Arizona's women's programs won the indoor and outdoor Big Sky championships, finished second in the soccer and tennis standings, and also placed second at the cross country championship. NAU's men won Big Sky cross country, indoor and outdoor track titles, finished second in football, tied for second in basketball, and tied for third in tennis.

Northern Arizona finished first in the league with 33 All-Conference student-athletes earning at least a 3.0 grade point average. Northern Arizona's athletic teams finished with a 3.17 grade point average. Eight of its teams had at least a 3.1 GPA, led by its soccer team at 3.44, the women's tennis team at 3.4, and the women's cross country team at 3.34.
