I'm going to go out on a homer limb here and ditto all of them except WCU-El Cid. Frankly I don't think this game is predictable based on last week's games, but we are most definitely improved on D, particularly against the pass. We also didn't play our best offensive player, so no film on him. I'm guessing 27-24 El Cid.

This game us a wee bit too early for my liking, but the winner will be deserving of the early season boost. I think both teams are good this year, WCU more expectedly so.

Its going to take me a long time to get used to looking at the SoCon and not see those two OTHER teams
It reminds me of the Big Sky after Boise State and those who shall remain nameless left...

:ohno:

You're killin' me...

I would argue that App. had become one of the most important teams in FCS
it's sad that being among the most important in FCS was traded for being absolutely nobody in FBS
Dare I say practically invisible

The Citadel squad were victorious 54–51 in a classic SoCon shoot out
My host was the lovely gentleman CitDog also known as Kevin

Will ETSU hold Montana State under 80 when the two teams play in October?

Can't remember the geography or altitude of Bozeman. Maybe too oxygen deprived to get to 80 points. :)

The Cats certainly laid an egg this weekend, and that's not meaning to take anything away from The Citadel, as their defense dominated the former high powered spread offense of the Catamounts, while the Bulldogs offensive unit rushed for yard after yard all game. The Cats just can't stop a triple option team.
